Thats it lol thats the question. whats the best Free MMORPG? Would like a mmo like WoW or FFXI dosent really have to be free just name some.

On topic if thats f2p u're looking for... imho Atlantica WAS the best before that community shatering stamina (most gamers hated it before it was even implemented). Time'll show what fate awaits that game... (some of us still have faith).
Other than that there's lots of popular p2p, some popular f2p and even more of less popular ones... I just named the one that imho deserves more attention then it gets (or was geting).
And generaly u should post what u're looking for in an mmo, cause there're tons of'em, all to different tastes.
The only free MMO that even comes close to FFXI is Dream of Mirror Online. The job systems are identical (main job/sub job), and you can change either at any time, allowing you to combine skills from two different jobs, etc etc. Dream is also story based (it has a set storyline to the game itself, like FFXI), and the game is somewhat party-orientated. I only played during the beta... but honestly? It's one of the few free MMOs worth playing.

Archlord is modeled after lineage 2, not WoW or FFX1.
4story is a mix of both WoW and FF11, perfect world is good too but it isnt out yet. As for which is better, i cant tell you since both are in closed beta.

Over the years ive seen hundreds maybe even thousends of same topics over and over again its only purpose it to get your post count up, wel for some that is:P
Games played:AC1-Darktide'99-2000-AC2-Darktide/dawnsong2003-2005,Lineage2-2005-2006 and now Darkfall-2009.....
In between WoW few months AoC few months and some f2p also all very short few weeks.

Yes mainly moddeld after lineage2 with some touches from EQ WOW, no FFII

i play atlantica and i liek it quite a bit. The stamina thing doesnt really affect me right now, well have to see. I played for around 6 hours and only used 80 of my 100 stamina. So , if your a casual player, it doesnt really change anything. Mostly , i think, it just prevents 24/7 botting. just my 2 cents.
