Trolls suck... And so do Fanboi's...
Well, I have been on both sides... So that means I sucked twice as much! 
But here is what I think of both sides...
DarkFall Fanbois:
These guys would believe in anything without having a proof... Like saying pigs will fly someday... Or darkfall will come out this year and on the first day they will have 3 billion people playing it and all the other mmo's will die and BLizzard and SoE will jump off cliffs because a game had came out that was WAY better than theirs...
The good thing about them is that they have spirit for the game... But sometimes too much...
Yes, I am over exagerating but it does add some spice to the thread doesn't it?

These guys know the world will end because they said so... They can see into the future... Isn't it amazing? How these guys know when YOU will die? OR when the world ends? I find it extroadinary.
So that means they know Darkfall won't come out! Everybody should believe these guys because these hopeless guys NEED attention because their lives are Suicidal because their patience has ran out for the game so please give these poor bastards attention! Seriously! Support their remarks because these guys probably don't have freinds!
One bad thing about something like Vaporware then they use that excuse as their Shields... One bad thing about one little thing in a movie and they're like, "Fuck this it's the worst Movie EVER!"
Yet again, more sarcasm! 
The good thing about these guys is they think about facts... It is very likely that Aventurine ran out of money! Or the Tasos is a Guy who lies so people can follow the game! They think with Facts and FAnbois think with no reason...
You guys should just be in the middle, wait for the game hoping it'll be awesome and if it doesn't, Well Boo Fuckity Hoo...

I'm not really sure in what heated argument this thread will turn into. A despute about Darkfall's publisher, graphics or the video scheduled for this month?

It seems to me that people let their passion cloud their thinking process. A few people on this board seem to take a difference in opinion as an attack on themselves. People will always perdict the outcome of something with nothing more then personal feeling, but that is simply a guess, or an opinion, and in no way actually has any bearing on the situation at hand. The only facts in this case is that Darkfall is currently in development, and may/or may not release somtime in the future. We have no idea of the quality of the game, the state of the current development, nor when it will release. We have vauge statements from the developer but no actual hard-proof gameplay demos, independent media previews, etc.
I have my personal feelings about the game, but will not argue with someone on why my opinion is better then theirs since no one can really "win" that arguement, until something is actually released we can work off of. Also, you must remember that many people were burnt by the release of DnL, Mourning, and Horizons. They made huge promises, kept things pretty tight lipped, and had horrid releases. The actions of those developers does not imply Darkfall will take the same route, but people are very weary. All we can do is wait and see how things pan out. The only definite thing is if the development stays in limbo for more than a year, they will lose serious subscription number possibilities, and release a game that is seriously lacking behind technology wise. Also, similar style games are slowly sneaking up on Darkfall, like Earthrise, and Mortal Online. If they want to keep the market they are shooting for interested, they have to start releasing more information. Its the total lack of information and secrecy that are fuelling the so-called "vapor trolls", which is easily countered by them throwing the community a bone, which year after year, they have neglected to do.
The only difference between a Troll and a Fanboi is which side of the fence they stand on.
