A few questions possible veteran return.

So I quit playing about 10 years ago I think I played it for about 2 years it was after the planes of power expansion and of course like many of you here I loved it, like someone described in another post it was like a second childhood.

My first questions is that are there more combat abilitys now? My main was a bard but im just curious because when I played my bard and beastlord in melee I didnt like the fact I had no combat abilitys. And I was also wondering are the character graphics updated to? And my other question is it possible to track down your old account if you dont remember the account name?

I sure would like my 56 bard back atleast he was my favorite class and ive yet to find a fullfilling class in any game ever sense even everquest 2 bards ruined classes for me:(, but after a while I finally let go so im enjoying other classes in other games better now.

Thanks in advanced all.

I think so when they added melee tomes. There is bandoliers as well and disciplines are now on independent timers and that. You could try it one month and see what it's like now, by the way you might have something like 30 days free on your account if you haven't played in a long time. They added some return-time a few years ago.

I wonder if it was one of my posts you read that described it as a second childhood.  I know I've said that before.  Dang, that first year of playing EQ really was magical for me. /sigh

But I think your timeline is a little off.  Sorry to be nitpicky and I mean no offense but it's 2008.  If you played the game 10 years ago that would have been 1998.  The game released in 1999.  PoP was, ah...I'm loosing track now but I think it was the 4th expansion.

Kunark was in 2000 so PoP was probably around....2004?  I'm not going to look it up but that's my guess.  It must seem like 10 years ago but it hasn't really been that long.

Edit:  Oh, and I'm sorry but I can't answer your other questions.  I finally quit for good around the time of PoP.

Yea im pretty sure it was your post but yea I meant around 10 years ago so probably around 7 years ago I didnt really deeply think about the time I quit.

I think PoP was closer to 2002. I could be wrong but I remember starting a new job then and PoP had just come out.
