I know everyone is use to seeing these threads by now lol, but I am looking for game like everyone else.
Here are my preferences
-graphics are a must, not cartoony preffered
-end game material, I came to the understanding almost every mmo is a heavy grind but as long as there some sick end game stuff, the grind seems easier to deal with
-seperation, I know players are gonna look like others but a game with diversity is always a plus
-Weapon variety, this is a must, there is nothing more I hate then chosing a class and only having 2 options for weapons, or 1 specific weapon type beats them all
-grouping, not to the extent were you need to group to lvl
This isn't alot to ask for in a game i think, but any suggestion welcomed, I prefer F2P with item malls to P2P, I don't mind P2P but I have 2 kids so my play time in a week varys by the week, so grinding for those items i want can take forever, so I don't mind dropping some $$$$ to get it faster. (Cause outside of video games, you P2P most fun things i.e movies, carnivals, casinos lol)
Enjoy : )

Lotro is quite pretty (if your card can handle it). endgame is a little small atm (i think 3 raids are currently in-game and monster play (pvp) is the other endgame. crafting is a big passtime for many).
grouping is only forced when you follow the main storyline (best loot) and only for about 1-2 chapters or so per book (about 10-14 chapters per book).
when the Mines of Moria is released (close to December or early January) lvl cap will be raised and new dungeons implemented. a new system where you can find a weapon and have it level up with you (find a sweet axe but dont want to get rid of it? level it up with you, never give it up ).
as for diversity at the start you will look fairly similar to everyone but by lvl 10 or so everyone starts to look different. dyes, outfits (basically you buy extra showy clothes that allow you to look different to everyone else but still retain your armour bonuses) and the character customization (coupled with titles) make everyone fairly unique in the world (more so than most MMO's). the people who outfit their characters always look unique because there are so many pieces of clothing in the world+dyes and you can combine them in any way you see fit.
and as an added bonus is it the most casual MMO in the market
so yeah Lotro sounds like a good game for you.
as for f2p...your never gonna get decent graphics from a f2p. try guildwars if you really want graphics but that game doesnt have weapon variety or diversity like most games.
MMO wish list:
-Changeable worlds
-Solid non level based game
-Sharks with lasers attached to their heads
Yeah, my bad shoulda tossed up some info on games played lol.
Heres a few to get the idea
-WOW, GW, PW, AoC (utterly disappointed after all the hype) EVE
But I have always been looking at LoTR, but for some reason it just nvr grabbed me (not a fan of reading and saw the movies, wasn't impressed, I would sya thats the reason) But thank you for the reply, im gonna look for a free trial to check it out.
I should have mentioned community as well, I don't mind gold spammers cause there everywehre in MMO's. To be expected now, but I hate going into a major city and ALWAYS seeing just stupid, lame insults and just retarded talk. Doesn't have to be firendly, just not full of whiner children.
Enjoy : )
Perfect world is for you. the custimazation is incrediable also they have fashion involved making the game more diverse. If you max out the graphics then the game will look wonderful check some screenshots on the web. It's F2p,now the thing is the american one isin't out until a few days but you could try the PW-MY but it has bad translation
Yeah, I really enjoyed PW, but since its American conter part still unreleased trying to make sure thats the game to go for. I found it alot like WOW (Most games try and copy aspects of it) but this one took it to the extreme.
I am currently DLing Rohan right now (near kids bedtime so any retail game will have to wait lol).
And I keep forgetting to add all the information lol, last one I promise I pretty much tried any f2p game that scored a 7.5 or higher in the mmo list.
Thank you guys for your responses, keep em coming, this is my gaming brainstorm lol
Enjoy : )
Well I was gonna suggest PW, the international one coming soon. I am waiting for that. It will most likely be my fallback game it WHO does not work out. Have played the PW.my , but the annoying translation and lag, so waiting for new one.
There is always Guild Wars also, I find it nice to look at and easy to play for those that just don't have the time.
Oh forgot Rappelz is nice to look at also.
