ok, star trek online is "slated" according to the webcast to be released in 3 years. (2011)
they have a website and a forum subsection on MMORPG.com
KOTOR is slated for 2009/2010, they dont have a website up (to my knowledge) I would really like to be wrong...lol, nor do they have a subsection here on MMORPG.com...
am I missing something?

it hasnt been officially announced yet.
so?
People would just Whine and whine and whine on them anyways.
Maybe Bioware is instead focused on their game instead of explaining themselves.
Personally I love the low key approach. No empty promises. No false hype. They are just working away and keeping quiet.

I believe its because the Star Trek mmo has a confirmed status along with a website while the only confirmation for a KOTOR mmo is from an EA boss.
So while it may have been announced from someone from the company who owns bioshock, it hasn't been announce officially.
actually, it WAS officially announced by BioWare (not bioshock). This was done 2 days AFTER lucasarts aquired a new patent for the game. You can google this to verify what I have said....

Er..no it wasn't..unless you can provide the link, I'm not believing it. (I did a quick Google search, and it certainly didn't rise to the top)
As for not having its own section here on MMORPG forums, it doesn't qualify yet according the rules.
In fact, right now this game is as much vaporware as Darkfall.... just hasn't been in development as long.

Oops, not sure why I typed bioshock (perhaps I was fantasizing about an mmo or movie ). I haven't been able to fine such a statement, link?

Um... I believe those are all the same announcements by the EA CEO. Its not an official statement from the company, hence it hasn't been announced.
I am just amazed at all these Kotor posts when the silly title still has not been officially announced. I mean, come on, you really can't be that ignorant of what is happening in the marketplace especially when it has been highly covered.
the low key approach has generated I think more hype than ever as instead of being told in marketing lies about the game everyone is free to imagine it as thier dream game. and thus the hype has reached a substantial level.
