Excluding eq2 and wow.
This is my first post here in about a year and a half so no flames pls. It looks like there have been alot of changes aroung here and alot of new members. So hi to everyone.

I don't get it, why exclude EQ2 and WoW? What if alot of people are only excited about one of those 2?

i want to exclude wow and eq2 because i know about booth those games and thier features and more or less what they want to do. im more interested in the game that are below the radar. So what things about the above games do you like the most .
yeah dark and light looks pretty good i like that the world is huge. and it includes a social/political way to lvl up.
Definitely Dark and Light. It's the only mmorpg that seems to come close to old Horizons.

Well there isn't ever going to be the perfect MMORPG, so I will have to say this...
First I will check out WoW and EQ, then check out MEO and D&DO and maybe a few others. Mourning shows good promise. However outside of that is just too unstable to say for now, especially with anything that is have way decent getting cancelled. DE, UXO and a few others. I have a feeling in the long run 50% of what is listed here will be ghost towns or just a whisper in the past.
But as for what I hope will be the best and I am crossing my fingers for is D&DO. But my faith is not so strong since Turbine has lost my faith with too many things going arye with the AC franchise and with this so called offline advancement with MEO. Next thing you know we will just login to games just to see how our characters are doing. Well, the day it gets to that I will just do my budget gaming. Go to the store. pick up box, look at screenshots on back of box. Close eyes dream of this world and me playing it, killing the baddies and then opening my eyes, smile and put the box back on the shelf and walk away knowing it was fun and cheap

Vendetta online, I just wanted to see how the ex-Jumpgate players will think about this game. I am a beta tester for this game, however, I noticed by a lot that people keep calling this game either an eve-clone, or a jumpgate-replacement.
There are currently over a few amounts of the space flight simmer/sci-fi communities out there who are interested in this game. Some got into the beta and was not quite impressed with the flight engine because(will I can't spoil that out to the people who are not in the beta yet)...
Anyways, as for caeron3000, I know very little from this game but from what I know is, it will have mech combat, space flight combat, fps.. almost looks like my dream mmo right here. I'll look into it later.
Only game I wait for right now: Imperator.

And now to topic: I'd have to say Dark & Light looks interesting. As an old D&D player, have to give the Online a look and keeping a watch on Vanquard.

im not sure about moe and dnd both games are from turbine.... vanguard looks promising but isnt it from one of the lead developers of eq from what i remember that guy wasent very cool?... I dont know after that whole swg/shadowbane hype and then the games turns out to be crap. im not gonna buy anything until the reviews start coming out or i get into a beta. ( the only exception will most likey be eq2 tho).
