    Apparently only 81.3% will. :)

Edit: 81.3% of 0 is what exactly?

Over/under on how long it lasts?

Over/under on how many people Lufkin insults before locking it down while insulting the player base  and claiming he has the largest known penis in the world?

It hasn't been locked, but they moved it to Off Topic lol

  • Okie, Why did Olav Sandnes not sell his shares a few month ago when they were almost 3x times as valuable when they launch there newest product.

But his management disgusts me. I have never seen a CEO work so hard to sell as many shares as possible this quickly after a financials report. And why sell sooo much??

Well, Mythic´s battlecruiser is about to set sail and Blizzards dreadnought is almost complete. You cant go to war with a broken rowboat. Its better to try salvage what you can before it sink.

    This whole situation is sad....

You can tell which developers like making games despite huge revenue and who just wants the revenue.

Whats funny is, if you love what you do, and are passionate about it, the money comes. Its amazing, without even looking for it, it'll find you.

If all you do is look for ways to make as much money with the least amount of effort, it won't go well for you in the long run.

At least when it comes to making a game it would seem.

I'd love to hear FC's PR machine spin this one.

I hope Anarchy Online lives threw this, even though I'll probably never give FunCom another red cent, AO will always be my 1st true love.

I know how you feel my friend. And I was so looking forward to the graphics overhaul. :(

Oh well, hopefully they will release the server tools as open source so the community can run AO servers once Funcom is sunk.

Actually, there could be a numbe of reasons for the drop.  One could be exactly what they claimed.  Honestly, this isn't necessarily an indication that they are bailing out on anything. He sold "not even" 20% of his stocks meanwhile keeping a little over 80% of the stocks in Funcom.

To me, based upon experience, that doesn't really tell you anything other than he did what other CEOs do all the time.  I believe that real lawyers, without a doubt, know this.

Yes, but the coincidence in all this is that he did it at the exact moment the Q2 financial report came out!

AKA he knew the stocks would drop. Ofcourse he couldn't sell more, because then it would have been too obvious of a bail-out and you would have gotten the same riot as with World Online back in 2000.

Let's let the cat out of the bag shall we?

If Funcom doesn't announce cancellation of the Xbox 360 AoC version within the next month or two and stocks are at their lows they are, BUY Funcom stocks.   The stocks are going to go through the roof the closer you get to the Xbox360 launch.   At which time, soon after launch, when the hype machine is in full gear you'll want to SELL those stocks.

You might actually want to buy the stocks now because the cat will get out of the bag sooner rather than later.

A colleage of mine already did that. He had stocks in Funcom for a long time. Sold them after launch and bought them back after they fell to all time low.

Who knows maybe this means it's possible AOC may get sold , which would be good for everyone IMO.

The last time they talked about the X360 version they said Q4 2009. Don't count on this to raise the stock price
