Torrent complete. Still the 18th to start?

Ok so I downloaded the torrent file for the beta. But it seems that there is no way to update the file with my username and password. So I guess we still have to wait for the 18th to log in? And yes I have entered my open beta code into my account.

Not all of us choose to wait for "official" ways to download a torrent. I was just wondering since they decided to push the featured way of downloading the beta to monday, if they also closed login to us with just pre-ordered keys till monday also.

He downloaded the closed beta client, the ones the CE pre-orders were getting. Assuming they are gonna be using the same cilent, but the 18th is just the download date, they haven't announced anything when they are going to start the PW and OB.
Yeah if you think you will be able to login and play on Monday your setting yourself up for disappointment. Most likely the PW will be next weekend or in two weeks.
Ok that is cool if they make the play weekend further out. I just wanted to know if anyone else had downloaded the torrent to see if it worked. Really, I just wanted to save time in downloading next week.
You might have saved time, or you might have to download it again. There is no guarantee that it will be the same client.
They might cut some content and make it smaller
They might make it a bit different and unpatchable
No way to tell
I guess I am banking on the thought that they would not make the CE people download another 9 gigs. Here is to hoping!
They have just announced that there will be a faster download system in place when they offer the beta download officially for OB.
