I know about the website canyourunit.com so dont tell me to go there.
I'm getting a new rig to hopefully play WAR with, these are the specs:
19"" HD Widescreen
Intel Quad Core 2.4GHZ
3GB Ram
500GB HD
**Still looking for a cheap Video Card that will handle WAR at least on all medium with 0 lag.
Can I run this game? I would try canyourunit.com but I havent actually ordered the PC yet, I want to see if this PC will be able to handle it without any problems before I do. And can anyone reccomend a video card?
Thanks,
Advanced!

Pick up an 8800GT for $120 off of newegg, or if you want something better pick up and HD4850 for around $160 or so.
With the video cards I mentioned you should be able to play on all highs just fine.
We need to see the rest of the specs, but with what you have, it has met the minimum requirements, and should probably surpass it
umm....i really dont know what to tell you besides..

Dunno why you need to ask if those specs will work... its obvious it won't have any problems as long as you pick up a video card made within the past few years..
You're more then fine...
I'd recommend a geforce 8600 or 8800. Cheap and good.
add an 8800 GT and your machine is slightly better than mine. I can do a 50 vs 50 in WAR right now just fine (slight NDA break OMG!)
I found that a FX5500 AGP 8X with 512Mb of vram will run it, but not very well..... so anything thats PCIE should run it with little or no problems.
The requirement bar for this game is pretty low.
I made this thread because the power supply i heard is 300-305 WAT, and i heard 8800GT needed like 400, so wouldnt there be a problem there?
Wow, that power supply is going to be a problem for anything made in the last year or two, especially an 8800.
Why does it come with such a crap PSU? You should look into replacing it or find a different computer altogether. You could potentially run into a whole slew of problems when running with a weak power supply-- memory errors, overheating, random reboots and lockups, etc. etc..
Im not sure if that is true about the PSU though, I saw online some reviews saying it that that, but the review also stated the specs and werent even close to mine, it was duel core and 2gb ram, mines is alot better so I think im gonna check Dell online chat and ask them and see.
ack dell the option for replacing the PSU probably just went out the window...
I saw this posted earlier and some people complained about it some, but it will give you a general Idea

Don't be afraid to look at some other systems also. Other than Dell that is.
What's your budget? Maybe we could point you toward some alternatives.
I cant go to sysrequirements lab, because if you took your time to read at least the first sentence of what i wrote instead of just pressing reply right away, I have it beying shipped, not here yet.
Okay so I found out its a 350 WAT PSU, I've heard people beying able to run a 8800GT there with no issues, can this be done?
350 watts? I thought they stopped putting those in computers 5+ years ago. Like someone else said pick up a new card and PSU. You'll be good to go. I got an 8800 GT pretty cheap off new egg.
This isn't like AoC or anything. No flash to make up for lack of substance as it's not needed. I don't have a supercomputer. AMD 4000+, 3 GB RAM, GeForce 8800 GT and it runs pretty good, even with lots of people around. Really all you have to do is compare screens of WAR and WOW. Pretty much look the same to me (note:that's not a jab at either game.) So both should run about the same.
For a 8800 card I would reccomend atleast 500W or more, myself have 550W with a 7950GT/512mb card.
should be fine with a decent video card.
What bothers me the most is your name and you dont know the answer to this lol

if you want to use one of the newest gfx cards you should get 500w or more... but for most pc´s 500w will be enough unless you got alot of HardDrives...
Yeah you would want to upgrade the power supply for sure. Odd to see a quad core with such a bad power supply.
What a stupid thread.
