We had a "eureka moment" and now you too can enjoy Atys right now along with everyone else! All accounts, except those who were banned, can now log in and play normally, so get to it!
Please note however, that you still cannot create new accounts or reactivate old ones. This also means that your old accounts won't be "reactivated" per se, so most of you won't be able to access the forums or the CeB chat even though you can play the game normally. If you have any problems accessing the game, please check the Support Page.
We hope to see everyone on Atys enjoying themselves soon!

I would kill to have an account right now/remember what my trial may or may not have been.
i only played the trial for a few days back in 2006, but i went to the site last week and went to "forgot my password" put in my email i was using around that time and now im playing
give it a shot.
Woo Whooooo! I'm back in Ryzom and Rushin try reinstalling the client it worked for me!

How is everyone feeling about the game now since relaunch. I have been busy playing other games, and would love to hear how the servers are working..
I had the unlimited trial offer, so I would love to try it again...but leery about logging back in if it is not working well.

Seems to be working well enough (though I really have no basis for comparison).
I played for a few hours Monday without a hitch (still on Silan on Arispotle (sp?)). Got dropped twice (rolled-back) on Tuesday as there is apparently a bug where guild invites can cause the server to burp.
There was a CSR there immediately in universe chat though - helping whoever it was to add to the guild without killing the server.
I haven't experienced any lag at all thus far. I've been playing the last few days. And I'm in the UK. More lag-free than most other MMOs I've played.
I played for about an hour the other night and the client crashed a couple of times, but I am running it on Vista, so I am not sure if it has been optimized yet or not. Otherwise, a great experience and now that they have opened up leveling for trial accounts, I can get my guy past level 21! Any guilds on the English server that I can join up with?
Have you read the tech forum? there are some topic related to Vista.
Edit: about guilds, the best place to search for is in game. Once you have decided your alignment (neutral, kami or karavan) just meet people, chat, hunt, and you'll be in a guild fast.

Feelings good actually. Its nice to come back home where everyone knows your name. It has been the warmest welcome back to any game I have ever played, and thereafter I don't believe I will ever leave because of it. The community is as it was back before, helpful and a joy to be part of.
All in all I would say come on back, all is relatively well.
