Damn, I didn't think anyone was looking. Yeah, it was a bit rant-ish. In any case, I did redo the whole thing, would love to hear some comments on it if you guys wouldn't mind.
Thought this was good for a laugh. Are these guys for real?
Um, clearly I'm missing something. That link just took me to some ugly and empty guild site. Didn't see anything at all. Maybe whatever you're referring to has been taken down.
Oh come on man, your going to sit there and tell me that, for a person with a Fallout avatar, you don't like my little navigation buttons?
Honestly I didn't even notice them. Just that they went to empty pages. And I fail to see what Fallout has to do with the buttons. However I also failed to see what was funny in the first place. So, as I said before I am clearly missing something. I remain fully confused.
Actually when I initially posted he had some kind of intro that I think was meant to be a joke. I just checked back and I gotta admit that I like the nav buttons, but you still need some content bro.

Ah I see. I was guessing he removed what you were posting about. Thanks for the clarification.
Well I don't have any intention of it being flashy, if that's what you mean. To me it's about organization, I'll go to warrhammer.com if I want to see that other stuff. If you mean content by info, I haven't even got into the beta so I don't want to spread misinformation or get everything written down only to have to change it around the game content.
And as for the Fallout comment, I originally made the buttons black and red to be reminiscent of the Pip Boy, but now that I take a second look they don't really resemble them that much do they?
God damn that is an ugly fucking website. Go back to the basics and don't put red on black for one. The buttons are downright ugly too and what is with all of the random code at the bottom?

Ah, I see. Yeah, you threw me with the Fallout comment.
If you want it to look Pipboy-ish you should go with black background with green text, buttons, and what not. Basically make it look like a computer from the early to mid eighties is somewhat producing modern graphics. As Pipboy's display is part of Fallout's whole "retro-future" aesthetic.
However since its a Warhammer guild site (I think) following Fallout's design principles is a bit on the random side.

Dude at least Pipboys has some style, This looks more like early 90's CGA clipart, 21st century and all you can do better.
I can draw, that's about it. I don't know jack about coding for a website, the tools for that site aren't very helpful either, but the place is cheap for hosting my own domain ($9 a year) and all I need is a site and some forums. I don't know when gamers started caring about pretty graphics and all of that, and I don't care, in fact I don't want players who are focused on that in the guild anyhow. I'll put some effort into the style it is,and do my best to create some nice portraits of the people who show loyalty to the guild, but I want players who will look past all that and want to form a community rather than a some flashy seance.
In the end, maybe it's good that it's ugly to most, I just didn't know that it was so offensive that Iphaltuus would take my invitation into the guild as far as to post some sort of diss about it, or what ever this was.
In short, if you wanna be part of a strong guild, drop me a line because that's what I want. If you want to join the guild and want it to have a nice pretty website, then you better know how to do it because I'm not going to take the time.

Okay...I'm a role-player, but that was just awkward.
I really hope that first part was a joke.

Guys! I'm hopelessly lost in a mountain of mole hills! Them damn moles!
It was, but it wasn't very funny. They were trying too hard for over-the-top humor and it dragged itself out longer than the joke would permit.
Oh, and their website design is abysmal.
Too right.
I have a headache now.
