MMORPG.COM News: Last Chance At $10!

Rice University is still seeking another 200-250 people to complete their online gaming survey.  It requires that you have a group of 3 friends...but each participant will get $10 for completing this ~20 minute long survey.  Here is what they have to say:


"We, Drs. Richard Bagozzi and Paul Dholakia, are management and psychology faculty at Rice University in Houston, Texas. We are conducting an academic survey of online gamers. This survey is regarding interactions among friends who play online games together, and for this reason must be completed by each member belonging to a group of three friends. The survey takes approximately twenty minutes to complete, and is available at:

We are paying $10 to each participant provided they and two of their friends (that they game online regularly with) each complete the survey individually. We will pay participants the money upon completion of the survey by the group, either through Paypal, or by mailing them a personal check.

We are looking for approximately 500 responses, and the survey will close as soon as these many responses have been received. Please take about 20 minutes and participate in our survey if you play online games together as a group or team."

    It's a scam, 12 people I know took it and they all got emails saying that they couldn't get the survey and to retake it. Really, not cool.

    I got two of my friends to take it, I don't know about them but I had $10 sent to my paypal account the other day because of it.

    never got paid :( maybe it takes a little while to get processed tho... I can always hope

    I've been paid.  This isnt a scam.  My brother also took it with a group and apparently one of the members just went through clicking whatever, not really taking it.  They havent gotten paid, and the 2 that filled it out got an email saying that the 3rd needed to retake it seriously.  So for those that didnt get paid, maybe there's a reason.
