Question about Dirge

What stats would a dirge need... ide think probly agi and int maybe similar to EQlive... which would obviously change my mind about the troll dirge i would like to make... but any info would be great

i belive agi is the really only important stat to it , but just play whatever race you want , you might not be as good in a certain area as a ratonga dirge would but ur troll would make it up by haveing more hp/str.

I heard that scouts do burst damage , like for example for the very first attack of the fight (like a sneakattack or something i forget) they'll do like 40-120 damage and then for the rest of the fight ud do like 10dps , whereas a warrior with a 2 handed sword would do 20 dps steadily , so it kinda balances it out....dunno just something i heard from a beta tester.

i could see how agi would have a lot to do with the dirge class, but doesn't a dirge sort of, in a way cast spells, wouldn't their effectivness be morely based on that? is there any info on this yet?

It's a bard type class. I would think it would need charisma as well

i dont know if your joking remyburke(i hope you are). But, there isnt charisma anymore. To the original poster: for all scout classes agility is your main stat. since trolls have below average agility probably wouldnt be a wise choice, unless you really want to play it, but it will be worse than another class suited for it at the beginning. But, from what i have heard they usually even out with gear, and stuff so choose what you want to play.

go look at the everquest2.com site and look at the races it gives you all the stats they have, and under the classes section it gives you what stat will mean the most for that class.

its str , agi , sta , wis , int....5 stats.

yeah, okay just found some info on that whole thing INT does infact make a difference in DMG for bards, which is not stated on the class discription in the archetypes menu.

Bards in EQ2 will use AGI and INT as their main stats.
