  On the download page I opened up like 15 tabs of the download and 3 of them opened up correctly, if you don't get any refresh all of them.

  after my finger got tired of pressing F5 ..i followed the link you get in youre e-mail from Fileplanet, that youre open beta  code is valid. it took me only 5 times F5 to get the download rolling

  F5 doesn't help. Just let the page sit there. It can take 15 minutes to go through.

  Ya, I didn't realize that the open beta doesn't start for a few weeks.  I rushed home and went through the 2 hour process of starting the download. (F5F5F5F5F5F5....)

  Now, that I got the download to start I am going to just let it run.  It's gonna take awhile anyway.  If I'd known that the beta is still so far off, I would have waited till the traffic died down a bit.

  Yeah, I left it running and while I went to eat dinner. It loaded up after who knows how long, but it said it had an error. So I closed the browser like it said, clicked the link that got me there, and did that two or three times until it finally worked.

  Now it says 42 minutes until it's going to "check for availabily" ... that sounds stupid, lol. As I stated in another thread... I hate Fileplanet. Torrent would've been MUCH more appreciated, at least to me, lol.

  I hear ya. I did the exact same thing. Does anyone know when the closed beta ends? Will we be playing with the closed beta testers when we're able to access the open beta?

  I was reading that it ends on the 25th with the preview weekend.
