My website contest suggestion

Starting next month I would like to host a contest at my website. The thing is, it's my first contest ever and never had any experience of doing one. Several of my friends suggested that I put up a contest to expose my website and bringing in more visitors.
There are several categories ; wallpaper creation, fanart, screenshots and cosplay.
Wallpaper : do-your-own [game name] wallpaper
Fanart : [game name] fan art
Screenshots : [game name] funny/weird/bloody/sexy/etc screenies
Cosplay : [game name] cosplay
Based on these 4 categories, which would you think I should go for? Take note that I'd be handling everything on my own. Winners will be based on votes, and there will be prizes.

Wouldn't the "wallpaper" fall under fan art?
I'm inclined to say all but the wallpaper. I'd suggest that you start with one and work your way through the list. Since you're doing this for the first time I'd say pick one that's least complex and easiest to handle. Thus you get participation, less headache, and exposure.

Oh I see. In this case, "screenshot" might be a good idea because it's easy for people to participate too. Just go ingame, take a screenie and then just submit it to me. But I'm still open for more suggestions.
Btw, If I host a Warhammer Online contest, would you guys participate?

I don't think I'd be participating. I'm just not very artistic and I tend to just play the games and not really bother with contests relating to them, the required effort though it might be small is still to great
I think once Warhammer comes out and I decide to play it, I will be posting way less then I am now.

I think all would be best.
Either by giving all a category for them selves and perhaps a final where they pick the best out of the category winners, or by just doing one category and allowing all to enter under that umbrella.

I voted screenshots for the reasons you mention. You dont have to be artistic to participate. The Idea to just have them all and then take votes on the 'best of show' is also a good one. people love to vote thier opinions as survivor and the other voting shows have proven. I might have voted for cosplay but admit total and complete ignorance of the term. WTH is it?!

Well, okay, I've put in *secret* because I have no idea which one yet. Heh.
