Is the world big ?

In reading some post, and everything sounds just great, but I'm getting the impression that the zones are small, and people are leveling  too fast,

Please set me straight !

the zones are pretty decent size. If you were to run from the beginning of Nordland (Empire T1) all the way to Reikwald/Altdorf (Empire T4) on foot that will take you quite some time to do. I don't have a rough estimate, but I've never attempted it because just running from tier to tier can take a while. Heck Altdorf itself is massive and takes time just traverse the city.

In regards to leveling I feel it is just right. Level 1-10 can be done incredibly fast if you know what your doing, and then it slows down gradually as you go up. The game has been designed for players to reach 40 relatively quickly and easily. They want the players to be at that level quickly because that is where the entire campaign really comes into play. It won't be like AoC where they didn't expect people to reach cap so quickly and then ran out of content. Mythic is prepared for the level 40's to storm in quickly.

Yes, from what I've collected the zones are as big as they need to be to have everything included without being terribly confined. Don't expect to be a 'running for 6 hours without reaching the edge of the world' kinda of deal that some MMOs pride themselves on as a "feature."

Again this is all that I've collected from reading blogs, posts, ect.

         Happy hunting on release!
