I cant believe how bad the beta participants information is.....Ive seen maybe two that are worthy of reading...The rest are just OMFGITSSOFUNYOUHAVETOP[LAYIT.....
Seriously, its just amazes me how long some of us,non beta participants ,were waiting on info, and when it finally lifts,we get a crap load of,um er crap....
Would someone, anyone, rise to the occasion and make a solid thread about the different classes, pvp viability and the breakdown of dps...AND BE CONCISE W/INFO BACKING THREAD.....
This is just sorry.....Most of you shouldnt even be posting......
Comments
i have never seen so many ambiguous posts in my life, one group saying "the combat is fast paces and the world huge" and the next lot saying, "the combat is slow and the world is too small"..who am i supposed to believe. I guess gamers are biased bunch and you will never get the truth from them. I would like to see a review from a non fanboi/troll.
wrong forum for good info.

I have been posting all my info there, because they don't break out into flame wars like they do here.
Thank you Chaos......sincerly....ty........im outta here
Ah, just play it for yourself. If you need the $50 that badly I'll send it to you.
I think people are here to really share their experiences in the game, not help n00b wannabe powergamers decide on what the flavor of the month is going to be when the servers come up.
Hey whats the most overpowered class with the best dps and is unstoppable in pvp? I wanna play that one!
/puke
Edit: I'm not saying that the OP is necessarily looking for the info for this purpose, but that is exactly what specific info on dps and RvR performance is used for.
Waiting for: A skill-based MMO with Freedom and Consequence.
Woe to thee, the pierce-ed.
Agreed totally.
Beta Testers: We are not interested in your general opinions.. most people have told us this already.
We want solid facts and in-depth explanations of how classes / features work and play.
We all know the generalities. Now we want particulars.
Oh, and thanks..
War Priest, seriously.

Thats quite alright, my financial situation is not that hard up. I have learned the hard way not to pre-order a game especially mmo's.
Everything is relative. And some people just want more than a MMO is ever going to give them.
How fast the combat is, depends on the class you play and what you are doing and what level.
A level 40 witch elf in rvr – fast as hell.
A level 4 magus in pve. Slow as hell.
World size – tier 1 in one pairing – average – but there are two other pairings. The capital cities are huge and make the ones in WoW look like shacks.
Looks it's a good game, anyone saying otherwise - played in early beta and hasn't seen all the improvements, or has something up their butt.
War Priest, seriously.
Hey Obiyer you don't happen to play on Tyrion do you
TTK is slow compared to to other MMO's. It really depends on how a character is specced by the skill system as well as the tactics that are used by players. The tactics are pretty substantial since it can increase damage by up to 25% and crit rate by 20% and crit damage by 50% if the right ones are chosen.
War Priest, seriously.

I eat warrior priests for breakfast, bright wizard is far and beyond the most over powered class in the game. But this could change with the next patch, so you never know.
What did you want to know? I'm in CB, maybe I can answer some stuff?
If it's about classes, I only played Witch Hunter, Marauder, Warrior Priest and Black ork.
Well no one has seen more then half the world yet, I don't think, so take that for what it's worth.
This isn't true, pretty much everything has been tested by elder testers including the end game city raids etc.
oh well hopefully the person that said it was small wasn't one of them :P. How you get to the city as a greenskin or darkelf? I can't find it
Sure, no problem. Here it is: www.wardb.com/search.aspx

Playing: Final Fantasy Online: ARR, Destiny
Most memorable games for me: UO, GW1, LoTRO
OK. I do nothing but rvr after level 5.
So you want to know about rvr?
Destruction class's that need love, Witch Elf, Magus, Squig herder. All other desto classas are just fine. The tanks do well in RvR.
Destruction classes that are overpowered: None.
Order classes that are over powered: bright wizard
Order classes that need love (I can't answer this, ask an order player)
As a destruction player my first to target order goes like this.
1. bright wizards (forget the healer goes first rule – these guys must die or they will kill you all).
2. Any and all healers.
3. Any melee dps
4. Then anyone else.
As much I would like to help there is too much to cover.
So my call, get the game and try it.
Someone's got a live stream into the game up, you can watch them play right now.

And then theres ZERGing, once power levelers Rank up to 40 and start to ZERG, them im sure its all about "relative" cause dying time and time again will be so fun.
It happened with DaoC and it for SURE happens allot with WoW BG's (AV being a great example!) and in both of those games 99% of the time players simply thru their hands up and didnt even try!
I see this problem with WAR as well, its too bad the dev's havent responded or even addressed how they plan on dealing with the issue.
Read ProfRed's blog on the main page. He wrote a clear, concise and organized review and summary of his beta experience.
What are you saying? I have read several very interesting reviews here, plus lots of information about the classes.

What does zerging have to do with my comments? Look, if you don't like games, why are your here?
Look I don't lilke WoW, I have never ever been to a WoW forum to tell WoW players I do not like their game. What would the point be?
