Been looking around, just noticed SGW

Hey all, like Darkfall, i'm late to the party reading up on this game. I wonder if anyone could provide some links to up to date info on release, dev chats, so on.

I know just enough to be interested for sure so far. When is release set (tentativly?) for?

    To answer one of your questions, which I don't think the Wiki does: the game is tentatively (but not officially) scheduled to be released towards the end of Q1 or beginning of Q2 2009.

    And from what I can see, it sure is looking good!  It's about time a solid Sci Fi MMO comes our way.

    I wanted to ask this question, but didn't feel like starting a new thread, so I decided to ask it here.  Here is the question:

    Does anyone know if the earth is going to be a playable zone?  Or are all the zones going to be off-world? (I guess that is 2 questions).  I know there are several episodes where SG-1 explored the earth (like Antartica for example).

    Earth won't be explorable. There may be missions set in the immediate surroundings outside the Cheyenne Mountain Complex, but you won't go Earth towns or anything like that. Most of the action will take place off-world.

    Edit: the Antarctica site may come in the future with Atlantis expansion. But like the SGC from the show, it will probably just be the complex and its immediate surroundings...not a huge Antarctica zone.

    Hey there Darkfall. I was in the same boat as you, wanting more info on the game since the main site doesn't really have anything as far as race and class information. (not here to advertise it, just trying to help). So I made a site with more of a visual representation of the information thats "out there". its http://www.stargatealliances.com/ .
