Organised PvP in Warhammer?

Is there any option to create your own team (e.g. from your guild) and play against other created teams in PvP scenarios (or how is it called) with posibility to climb in a ladder (like you may have seen in Guild Wars - Guild Battles)? So far what I have read it looks more PUG PvP oriented.

yes there is, you can enter scenarios as a team/warband.

and those are the most deadly..........one time while i was playing we(order) got out asses kicked in the kaines embrace scenerio (500 points destruction, 19 points order, no not 190, 19!!!!!! with 6 mins remaining).

(disclaimer os i dont feed trolls: order have kicked destruction asses in scenarios but this one you can tell these guys where very organize and using vent  but that is the worse loss i have even seen, the biggest lose for destruction i have seen was 500 to 89 with 2 mins left)

Are you sure about joining as a warband? Pretty sure I saw someone else saying he felt that option was lacking.

yes that option is not there but it could be a bug in which if 2 parties of the war band are quering for a scenrio they will get in together that could be a bug.

This seems you can arrange team vs PuG team just to increase chance to win. Not what I expected.

how do u communicate in war? chat or microphone..

like if u join a public group can just talk with all of them through voice? or is everything chat unless u use teamspeak or some thirdparty crap

My biggest worry in this regard is that people will start complaining about "noobs" that are simply less effective than the groups/elititst in scenarios and that they will start complaining they are losing them scenario's and wastes of space etc.

If you're losing you are after all *not* helping your realm.

you cant really arrange it because you can only choose one side per server.

scenarios can have up to 4 teams there ahve been cases in which there have been at least 1 team from each side was organized (and oh man was that a balst, that happen 3 times to me the scores where O:500 D: 489, O 490 D: 496 *time ran out, and credits to D on that ebcause they where behind the whole time* and the closest one ever O:498 D:500 3 seconds left)

yea i have complained, but it is a full complete team effort one good party can hold up or even win the whole thing for your side with the "noobs" assiting but scenarios will teach you damm fast.

example my girlfriend, never played a WASD game, in fact the only thing she uses her left hand to do is jerk me off and masturbate, never played a MMO, cant play most fighting games without button smashing but after her 3rd RvR she was doing 8k+ damage 6 death blows and 2 solo kills at lvl 4 on average. *most of the times it is melle dps that get the death blow and solo kills are next to impossiable even if you are playing agaist a fully noobs group*

Scenarios don't mean too much tbh, i mean they contribute and whatnot, but open world RvR is a completely different ballpark.

its all chat unless you use a 3rd party program.

Btw. can I play for both sides (order and destruction) on one server or is it similar to WoW PvP servers?

  • facrisfacris Member UncommonPosts: 67

No, from what i understand you won't be able to pick both sides on the same server.  Which is a good thing since it would break realm pride and also allow infiltrators/spy's to more easily affect the other side.
