I am running two GF8800 GTS's, but my computer wont run the game. When i try to start the program i just get a crash to desktop. Hours of internet searching has yielded nothing of use. So im going to break down the components of my problem.
I want to know if anyone here if successfully operating the game using one, or two, GF 8800 GTS's. And how your game is behaving. Thank you

What type of GTS are you running? the older 320mb/640mb versions or the later 512mb version? I'm running a single 8800gts 512mb and it runs the game smooth as. I wish I could adjust graphic settings though, the lack of certain graphical effects is annoying me.
Im running an 8800GTX (single) without any problems, save the occasional crash to desktop.
And yes, the lack of graphical controls is annoying. Having ONE single button that says "High Quality" is not enough for a modern game. My PC can handle much more than WAR outputs, and I shouldnt have to put up with the lack of AA, close clipping and bad shadows if I dont want to.

CTD's are a known issue that were (iirc) introduced with the latest (3.3) patch. Mythic is working on the problem, and from what I've heard, the past few hotfixes have helped considerably. Best thing I can say to do is hang tight, there should be a new patch releasing late this week.
EDIT: And please you guys, stop bitching about the graphical settings; they're purposefully locked so us testers can test the -gameplay-. There will be a much, much higher level of graphical options availble in the future.
I have run the game for the past year of beta on a single Geforce 8800 GTS 320 mb card with no crashing issues outside of the ones everyone was experiencing, in fact I have had less than most in the past. Hope this helps mate!
Cheers!

Its not done, this isn't what will be in release, they just have an even graphic level for testing. They haven't released the High Res graphics or the options.
Most betas do not give you any control over graphical settings and have them set at a low (or the lowest) quality. They are typically more concerned with the mechanics of the game.

Even that graphic setting does nothing, low, high or custom are all the same. The only thing you can change is the resolution. I really can't wait to see what this game really looks like.
As for CTD's, I have never had this problem. The only thing close I get would be if I Alt+ Tab out of the game then click back in, when ever I type something in the chat box, the screen blacks out and reloads again(like if you change screen resolution or something).
Sorry, not true. Most companies want you to test graphical setting as well, thats all part of the testing procedure. The game mechanics should already be on the right track at this phase. When you are this close to release you want to make sure the game doesn't shit itself when someone decides to crank up the AA.
I run an 8800GTS and the game usually performs great. I've only experienced one CTD since the start of CE beta and it seemed to only be a transient issue-- I couldn't reproduce the crash.
Have you tried running the game with 1 card?
curious, do newer testers not have access to the beta forums? These issues go way back
Its pretty well known that SLI in WARs current state is hit or miss. I think more people are having issues with it than are not.
I run an 8800GTS 512 flawlessly. Disable SLI, see if that fixes the problem.

Actually it is true, you dont need max graphics to test the textures and dx and dll.As I said before disableing the graphics makes finding potential bugs alot easier when say 75,000 people are running the same setup.Baseline comparison.
