Character transfert?

in Everquest II
I know pvp will not be with the openening of eq2, but im pretty sure they will add it later. Thing would be great if at that time, i could transfer my character to the pvp server. You guys heard any word about this?

Not gonna happen buddy.
SOE has stated, in very certain terms, that there will be no character transfers from EQ. As much as they keep saying that EQ2 is totaly a diferent game I don't know why people keep wanting stuff from EQ to be put into EQ2.
Think he was asking if his eq2 char he will start would be able to be transferred to a pvp server after pvp servers start up.

Only a fool would think SOE would allow them to transfer eq to eq2, but no he means an EQ2 char to and EQ2 pvp server

Lol there was a aprils foul trick done by some EQ site before that advised SOE have opened character transfers from EQ to EQ2.
but they may have character transfers from no PVP to PVP at a later date, but that maybe sometime, the original has the transfer service but that took a year or more before you could transfer.

lol, how come you mention this tidbit in a lot of threads?
Many people want it to be just like EQ because many many people loved the game and the game mechanics...now they are hoping EQ2 be just like EQ because it was so nicely done. I really don't see anything wrong with that.

im talking server to server in EQ2... not EQ to EQ2
Its been told that NO PVP server will start on EQ2, eventually there will be one .. i wanna know if transfert server to server in EQ2 will be possible at this time, i dont wanna wait a pvp server come out before i play ..
Pritty sure thats not gunna happen , it would give you an unfair edge , on the other hand though i see it being a possibilty of something you have to pay for maybe like 15$ to transfer a character from a server to another server.

well in EQL, we saw it often that they accepting char transfer free when a new server came up.. relying on that i guess... and that's why im askgin questions
I think they will either have PvP in such a way that they will add it to all the servers or you will just have to start a new character on the PvP server.
