As always, Blizzard does a wonderful job. They really do have wonderful artists in their CG dept.

True, BC have more fighting than this....

After seeing the Warhammer Online one I'm not impressed by this at all, sure the art style is sooo much better than the Warhammer one it just lacks length like you get the build up to the story and it suddenly stops. I know this is the intro so it makes sense but their previous CG trailers were really kool to watch and this one just isn't unless you're a fan of Warcraft lore which I'm not.

Awsome. Too bad this turns into "kill 10 nether chickens for their valauble magic blood and I will give you the key for the king's lair".

Then ... you go to the dungeon and...

"ok casters stay on the north wall, tank pull to the side and when the king sends the message saying his wrath is upon us, all run to the column and all will be fine".

    Epic.

Good CGI but it didn't sell the expansion to me.

Maybe if they'd had a motorcycle race going on in Ironforge?....

The irony of you posting this with an EQ avatar is....... delicious.   "Om nom nom..."

Give me an example of any game on this planet, or any single game mechanic, and I could deliver an even more negative spin on it than you have managed to do for WoW.   Civilization, Halflife, EQ, Doom, Call of Duty, Monkey Island, Quake,  Neverwinter Nights,  Oblivion,  Morrowind...  "

I could take any of those games and highlight the repetitive nature of them, the downsides, and the negative sides.

I find it amazing that we're playing games that we could only dream about in our youth, and people are still able to yawn loudly and say "boring".   What really is the point of posting to complain about how WoW is designed, when it's obvious there's nothing out there that does it better.

    It's just vitriolic nonsense.

My WoW game box on the back says "your defintion of epic is about to be redefined" or something very similar, and after reading that I realized that the sheer scale and scope of WoW is unrivaled.  I don't think there's another game that can come close to the sheer scope of WoW, and that includes Everquest, for which I played for 5 years, because that gives you even less gameplay options now after almost 15 expansions than WoW did on release.

Still waiting for your Holy Grail MMORPG? Interesting...
