Multiple chars per account

I was just wondering if anyone knew whether or not you could have more than one char per account - I hadn't thought of it until IowaYeti brought it up in one of the other topics? I'm checking out the EQ2 official boards, but I thought maybe someone here knew?

I was thinking yes, because of the "getting to choose which character gets the preorder jboots" thing i read about, and i thought one of the movies showed the char selection screen but i dunno for sure

    Of course u'll be able to have more then one , my guess is ATLEAST 3 per server , probaly around 5 per server...just my guess though , on the beta servers you can have more then one not sure what the number is though

    well, this is truly good news and bad news hehe  less money for month, but more exploiting will happen. Hell, we had tons of exploiters in SWG, and they PAID for additional accts lol  Oh well, at least my "character choice" decision wqill be easier now lol  thx guys

    im sure you can have multiple chars per server, but its not going to make you be able to exploit. and i think i read in a gamergod thing that your characters will have some shared bankslots like in EQlive so you can transfer items between chars.

    Yes there will be multiple characters per account/server.

    They have mentioned shared bank slots, but I think I saw somewhere that you cannot pass money between them only items, (or I am I thinking about EQ Live ?).

    nope, they said no money thats why i said, " items" image but, they will probably change it because people are going to complain, im sure. doesnt make any difference to me either way, though.

    Its also been stated that the shared bank account slots will only be available between chars of the same alignment.  No swapping of items between good and evil chars.

    Great! thanks for all the input you all --- now i remember reading about the bank shared slots as well, which will be great for me cause i'll probably be all on one server and i'll never have more than 4 or 5 chars - i usually like to play 1 or 2 exclusively when i start an mmo
