So its take me 4 days to download...

... after numerous disconnects and a 15kbps - 70kbps download speed on a 10mbps pipe, with 10 gb of a client to pull down :-/
Now it wont decrypt dammit. Just gets to the same old point about 1/4 of the way in decrypting the file and says "decryption failed" Serious this is pi$$in me off. Im gonna miss this weekends preview at this rate and that gets right up my nose.
Anyone else had probs decrypting the Beta client?

I had the same problem, kept getting stuck at about 1/4 finally it went further but got stuck at about 3/4s and kept dying, my wife also pre-ordered and her download went fine, so I just gave up on my decryption and copied the game from her computer. Sorry I don't have any helpful info, just letting you know you aren't the only one to see it, hopefully someone else will have more info.
Make sure you have at least 30gig spare on C:/ Drive.
Not enough space will cause it to fail hope this helps.
Ouch.. I'm verry sorry. I finished my download while I slept last night.. no problems at all.

If I have to DL again, I doubt i'll bother at all tbh.
I have 75gb free so i dont think its space related.
I have a 3.2ghz A64 x 2, 4gb memory and so my rig should chew that file up...
Are you wireless or are you punched into your router ? If wireless punch into your onboard nic and try the download that's woekd for me in the past. Also check your hardlines you might have a shielding issue with you connection that can also bung up large downloads.
Hard wired and now im wired cos this has annoyed the hell out of me.
Fails same time every point when decrypting.
Oh well, looks like thats the preview and beta out for me!

If you have enough space on your drive, to this EXACTLY:
DONE.
Patch your client, will take a couple of hours. Hopefully this time it will work, took me 3-4 hours.

How can I uninstall when I can't even get to install?
Run uninstall.exe from your WAR folder.
Remove all traces that have been put on the computer maybe. BitComet has an option to "remove task and all files."
EDIT: Sorry, I misunderstood.
It did take a while on my system too and does hang at 1/4 through the process.
It took around 10 mins on my system 3.1ghz quad OC'ed And Raptor HDD and 4gig DD3
Most of the 10 mins did hang around 1/4.
Edit - If it failed it could be due to a corrupted download.
So how do I download it again?
Forget utorrent, thats a mess, and there's so much crap out there...
I want the official download, i removed it from the DLM and now its all gone and no option to DL again!?!?
As far as I knew you needed the DLM latest version before it will let you download the file. I tried to download without but would not let me.
I would just stick it out and re-download hoping this time it does not get corrupted.
Mine finished in just a few hours. Deffinetly less than 6. On a laptop thats not that awesome.

On Wednesday night, I started it up when I went to bed and it was done when I got up.
Was peaking at 600+ kbps, so it was a pretty fast download.

They fixed that patch downlaod from their site. My friend tried to do it and it said it wouldn't download because major files were missing.
