Preview Weekend Start Time?

Anyone know when the preview weekend will start tomorrow?

    Best guess some time after 10:00 AM EST.

    All I know is that I see about 2-3 times more servers than we had in Closed Beta that are now in the list. Looks like Mythic is planning for a heckuva weekend!

    Honestly guys,



    Don't expect much of anything to happen at the stroke of midnight. While we're all working around the clock it's important for large portions of the team to be in studio and as well rested as possible when we bring things like this online.



    We're looking at having things up in the morning (not specifying a time) but it depends on a number of factors. The most important thing is we ensure a great experience for everyone, so that's priority one



    The Herald will be updated within minutes of the server going live, you can count on that!

    It's already been mentioned before.  But this is what one of the Official Developers posted over at the warhammeralliance forums.  They plan to open it up sometime Friday morning (as in during normal business hours - not 12am).

    I think Age of Conan had this same issue for its preview weekend and it was slated to go up at Friday 1pm EST, then it was 4PM EST then it became 8PM EST - 10PM EST.

    And only lasted till Sunday @ midnight EST I believe. Hence to say, it was'nt much of a preview.

      They wont tell you so the servers wont immediately crash when every single person logs on at the same time

    I read a post earlier today by someone who is a part of the WAR team. He said that there is no specified time for launch, but that it won't be at night. I would expect that the servers open up in the morning sometime.

    well i took a nap today hoping they will go live at 12:01am... i am prepared to wait for at least 4-6 am before taking another nap lol

    I have a lunch meeting tomorrow at noon so hopefully after I get a reuben sandwich in me and some Guiness, I will come home to play some WAAAAAGH!!!!! ........I mean...WAR.

    Just curious, it appears that I have access to this preview weekend. What exactly is this? I'm basically assumnig it's CB business as usual while it's slightly OB sneak peek given access to a few of the OB players. Anything really "special" about it or is it just some CB access that us OB players will be able to experience?

    I'm assuming we'll at least get to play max level characters or something during this event.

    Looks like they are not saying when they are going to open the server, as to not crash the game. Oh well. See you all tommrow.

    Ah, it is the eve before the War,  I'm going to be up all night planning my War strategies and it would probably be best if on the dawn I got coffee and some mcgriddles! Cry havoc and let loose the dogs of WAAAAAAAGH!!!!
