    Good point, they should live

Lying in bed, looking up at the stars, a single thought passed through my head. Where the fuc|{ is my roof.

To make the question even more entertaining, how do you wound them? If you've seen the Blizzard graphics of the undead, were not talking Mummies or Zombies, were talking animated skeletons...

I can see breaking them... but wouldn't they still be animated? And how much is enough? As an actual undead character generation feature, you can chose to have no lower jaw...

Wouldn't a Priest heal - cause pain, to an undead?

Okay being a fantasy roleplayer I know this one ::::06::

Basically undead are formed using magic.

Once the magic has been dispersed they die.

    Easy get out clause.

Now playing: VG (after a long break from MMORPGS)
Played for more than a month: Darkfall online, Vanguard SOH, Everquest, Horizons, WoW, SWG, Everquest II, Eve

Actually the 'playable' undead chararaters look more like zombies, they do have skin although it isnt real attractive. lol

And another thought...if they are called 'undead' then they actually aren't dead to begin with right? lol

And how come the other charcraters dont turn into 'undead' after they've died? hmmmmm image

Actually the Undead aren't really... "dead".

Think about the Forsaken as though they are "plagued" (seeing how they really are) and due to this "plague", they appear to look zombified.

    Surely "undead" means "alive"?

    Well.....

I suppose they would go from "undead" to just plain "dead".

Gah! Yes! You made me go look... My undead toons, they do indeed have flesh over their face, torso, hands and feet. It's only the elbos and knees that are exposed bone, so, yeah, I guess they would be more Zombie like than animated Skeletans <chuckles>

Yes, magic (Lich Magic, the plague) is their life force... so, maybe undead isn't the right identifier.

But tell me this, A) why are only humans affected? (I'm not into the WoW history) was it a specifically tailored plague?
    B) why is it, once they are affected they immediately speak Orcish?

    <lol>

    A) Actually all races are affect (Sylvanas for one thing is an Undead High Elf) but Humans make up about 95% of the Undead since most of the undead were the humans who were living in Lorderon before the Scourge came.

    B) They didn't immediately learn orcish... the Forsaken started learning Orcish once they joined the Horde in order for their race to communicate with the other Horde races.

What kind of question is that?! Ever since Warcraft 1, all we did to kill skeletions is bet the crap out of them to kill them. Same goes for the undead in WC III. No one never said that the undead can die again. Geez . . . .It's like RE, just put a cap in the zombies' head and it's over.

Man . . .are you new to Warcraft? No offence man, but if your not, you shouldn't be asking that question . . .

They are the "LIVING" dead...come on use your imagination, once ya die youre immortal! Well technically so are all the other races since that can claim their souls again, only difference, the undead have no souls, mwahahhaha!image

I know how everything is the way it is. I know why the undead are that way. Because it's a game and thats how the creators wanted it. Undead could be many different things but in WoW it's like having ugly looking humanoid creatures that can die, fight, etc.
