LOL, why do I ever bother to sign up for betas anymore. I never get in, I feel I am cursed. I wouldn't be that just play kind of beta person, I wouild actually look for bugs sniff them out, try them again, and submit them. I would defintely be dedicated to it. I never got a chance.

Everyone is cursed except for a very few amount, no worries though, even though we all would like to try it before we have to buy it, I guess we just have to wait. ::::11::

Yeah, I would like to play it before I buy it, but other then that I've never beta tested a game and would really like the experience. I would do my job too and look for bugs.........mostly because I hated all the bugs in SWG and would like to see that disapointed not repeated. SoE still has the chance to redeem themselves! Seriously, if this game sucks that just ends my tiny bit of hope I have in SoE...

I've been a loyal subscriber since EQ began in March 1999, but no invite yet. Seems that the beta selection process must be random.

a friend of mine had got into beta, he did play EQ a while ago.

I've tested for them previously and still no invite, been playing EQ for about 4 years also

I got into EQ2 beta but wanted WoW beta

Testing history had nothing to do with it. I beta'd for Meridian 59, UO, EQ, and several other online game, and Alpha tested and beta tested for several PSone and PS2 titles. I have the experience. And i have been a customer on EQ since start up, so Not sure why i didn't get an invite. Let me guess over qualified? not!

A glimmer of hope has broken through the stormclouds. I know dawolf to be a knowledgable advocate for us LOE victims. It looks like he's got CS contacting him on the weekend somehow. Anyway, I hope this means we're close to some resolution.

Some official info would be nice. He states that CS says they have already stated that they get the fact there is a problem, but they also think the emails are going out. I didn't remember them stating that they knew anything other than they were putting me on a list to get a 'resend' sometime a 'the end of the week.'

Communication is so key to CS.

Just remember what Beta is and is not. You are helping Sony, not the other way around. They don't owe you anything until you start paying them.

That what kind of annoyed me about Son.y I was once in the Guide program. I worked my ass off for hours a day in the program. Then I got firee cause I disagreed with some of there rules. Long story. The funny part is, in order to be a Guide you have to have an EQ account. SO, I was PAYING THEM, to help them. And I stayed up long hours. This is why I kind of have a grudge against Sony. And figured I wouln't get an invite (not cause of the past) just cause the way Sony is.

Well, barring getting fired, I'd think that guides who volunteered their time should be guaranteed Beta accounts, if anyone does. That's something I definitely didn't think of.

It's only been family and friends and in house beta so far. They have stated many times that Open Beta hasn't happened yet, and they still haven't completed inviting all the Lords Of Everquest beta invitees yet. So open beta still has not begun, and that includes random EQ subscribers and people that signed up on the website and stuff like that. So keep your hopes up!!

I can't complain it defintely was fun Guiding. I would do it again if they offered for Eq2. I thought though playing eq for 3 years, and Guiding one point in it, would of gave me some kind of boost. I guess not. I canceled my account so I screwed myself over in the "long time subscribers." I just am so mad.
I was Slaeb on the Povar server if anyone has ever saw me.

Yes, I thought about guiding at one point in EQ. I decided that the game would become a job at that point, so decided not to guide. But you are right, I would think some unexpected reward would be warranted for those who did and were not paid in some other way.

Not true. Legends and LOE beta applicants have been testing for almost a month now. Except for those of us who are getting snubbed by SOE CS. There are official announcements on the SOE forums and the Everquest 2 homepage.

I did start paying them. The LOE offer was the deal where you got a spot in Beta if you bought their crappy Warcraft III rip-off game. They do owe me.
