It does give an indication that it may not have mass appeal, so I guess thats one bit if info you could take from the spam.

this ALWAYS happens in EVERY game that is released
the thing is you can tell this game is amazing because the only thing people complain about is being bored
the spam means actually the opposite of what you think it does - i just want to see the trolls come up with something better - i know they have it in them to do great things!

I'm not trolling, I think this game is cool.
I'm just saying that people wouldn't just take time to make a thread about bordem for no reason...maybe they are trolling or maybe they are genuine, either way they wont be playing the game.
Oh and I'm not new to games betas mmo's or sex.

edit: To the OP holy crap you were right I didn't notice it before but there is a bunch. But one thing I will say is I think the start of WAR is really lackluster and unless your into the game or the lore I can see someone getting bored after only playing T1.

Yeah you have to remember that this game will be played and judged by hundreds of thousands of mmo players, not warhammer fans, so they will take the game on face value and not fully understand the world due to lack of lore knowledge. As much as us fans won't like to admit it, this could ultimately make or break the game.

I hate to break it to you but 'being bored'' is not the only negative thing i've heard about this game. You mention that this 'always happens', but why as paying consumers should we have to put up with it? You'd hope that by now companies would learn that releasing half-finished games will not wash anymore. That's not a dig at WAR but at the industry in general.
But WAR doesnt feel half finished. It feels like a "solid launched for 3 months" game. I know there are things missing from the original design, but I havent noticed a gaping hole where those things should of been. And I havent been bored of the game. I have got bored of questing and PVE after doing it non stop for 6 hours, and then I got to the RVR area, and then wasnt bored anymore.
But... I've only been in it a short while. I loved AOC for the first 3-5 days, before the horror hit home!

You hear that for every game because plain simple every mmo the last 4 years is BORING after a while, because is the same kill/loot/equip/cheer/kill again concept. The only game that kept me over for more than two years was SWG, but this is just me. But the problem is that some people says that they are bored to kill rats in AoC and WAR but they are thrilled to kill them in WoW or EQ2 over and over. Dont get me wrong, i like mmos, i have bought and tried almost every mmo that was released the past years but honestly they all seem to be distant cousins of each other. So my point is that i agree with op that the "im bored" threads are totally useless in any game. I was bored with every game i have tried so far, but i didnt tell anyone. I just tried another one.
I'd say yeah thats pretty much it.
Alot of the posts did have details as to why, b ut I noticed they are trying to lock those types

execpt no one cares about your "review", "opinion", if you are "bored", "hate the game" move on, we can all make our own decisions. You are not going to make or break anything because you feel you want attention.
When I said i had "time", i meant virtual time, i got no RL "time" for you.
It helps them to justify not buying, thus in turn heading straight on over to the largest MMO site... To spread dung that only their one tracked minds allowed them to see (usually negative) and fling the crap around in hopes of hitting others with the stink.
At the end of the day they are the eqiuvalent of a panhandler outside your local liqure store. Just learn to turn your head as you walk by.
