Project Entropia

I've been playing Project Entropia and I've been having fun. BUT!!! I need money or some one to be my mentor to get me going. I know that i could put in money to get in game money but i dont have any extra cash to spend. I wont beg for money but i could use an extra 2-3 PED and I'd be glad to work it off in game.

I've barely played the game but I can just image how hard it is to actually gain some PED without pumping real cash into the game. Thats how the company makes their money. I actually think it one of the lamer ways to make cash and it turned me off to the game almost instantly. But thats just me.

2-3 ped won't do you any good. that'd get you a few hundred shots, or little bit of repair on your weapon if you're using melee. not enough to make anything usefull. it wouldn't do a damned thing if you're tradesmith, so take my word here, if you're not willing to spend several hundred dollars on the game, you're not willing to play it. i only put ten in myself, but after talking the pioneers, and countless in-game acqaintances, i learned you can't get along without doling out fistfulls of cash. period. but don't take my word for it, ask around, no one makes ends meet at all, and if someone tells you that they do, they got a hof (luck and trigonometry) or they can't tell you, and may possibly be reeling you in for a scam.

just to be helpfull though, if you have time, you can earn several ped in a few days worth of sweat gathering at the farm south of nymptha, but there is a cap on sweat gathering so don't expect to rely on it. the only way to stay above water in the game is to play large and consistantly, it's like playing black-jack on the law of large numbers. you have a low chance of getting an hof if you can only afford to hunt an hour a day (with 2-3 ped you could probably run out in less than an hour), you'll never see an hof, but if you dump a ton of money, a ton of time, and are pretty bad ass in addition to that you have a better chance, if not a gaurantee. that's how the law works. increasing the amount of trials, increases the chances of success. make no doubt about it, in project entropia, you are gambling. if you have the most balanced setup between economics and effectiveness, you'll still never, ever, ever, break even without minis or hof's. no matter how smart you are, you need luck.

i know you only asked for a little help with peds, but i'm telling you the truth now, 2-3 ped won't do you any good. on melee weapons you deteriorate 2-3 ped in less than an hour, and with guns, you run out of ammo just as fast. talk to the entropia pioneers on thier forum, they are very helpfull and you can probably find someone lend you a hand now and then. maybe not with money, but advice that might save you money, in the least.
