I saw a video about you culd paint your own armor, i find it fantastic, but, can you pain every piece.. like if you only wanna paint your boots, u can do that wthout pain the whole armor?
Also, can you pain ur weapons and shield?

Boots, gloves, body...each individual piece of armor (as equipped on your paper doll) is dyed separately. So if you have a green tunic and brown boots, you can turn your tunic blue and it won't affect the boots. In addition, many pieces of armor have a primary color and a secondary color-- for example, a blue shirt can have a different color trim. I do not think weapons can be dyed, I don't know about shields.
the double layered dying system is really awsome
yea it does really sound superb, thats something EQ2 and WoW needed. Ok in EQ2 u could change ur face again, but wish it was your armor tho.. Awesome job Mythic!
I noticed in the movie, there wassent alot of colors, i mean, moste of them were bright colors, is there any way u can paint in black or very dark?

If someone had came up to me in 1980 when I was on my Atari 2600 and said we will be playing games with thousands of people at the same time.I guess my response would have been,"but I only have 2 joysticks"

Actually, pink and purple feature quite often in the tabletop game for Chaos units. You might be surprised at what those colors can do when not used garishly.
My ironbreaker is like a gold nugget lol. I love the paint system everyone can stand out.
Hold on Snow Leopard, imma let you finish, but Windows had one of the best operating systems of all time.
If the Powerball lottery was like Lotro, nobody would win for 2 years, and then everyone in Nebraska would win on the same day.
And then Nebraska would get nerfed.-pinkwood lotro fourms

even SWG pre cu had this system, about time a new company did the same, all tho, the system in war is better

Yeah, I actually saw a black orc in pink plate armor today. It was quite funny to be honest, but I guess I'm just one for further embarrassing your foes.
I believe painting your armour is something EQ1 had...its a nice feature, but really, its not a big deal..lol

I still laugh everytime I see those colors on chosen armour.

My old roommate painted his 40k Chaos army a nice dark purple with pink secondary as a joke to start, but after he painted his first unit (a defiler no less) it was in all honesty the best scheme out of all of us!
Back when I played Dark Age of Camelot I LOVED the dye system. It wouldn't be out of place for my color scheme to change every few days if I had enough money to pay for my dyes, which usually I didn't.
If the system is similar to the one from DAoC I know whatever class I decide to play will be like a slideshow of colors as time goes by.
That Guild Wars 2 login screen knocked up my wife. Must be the second coming!
I just got my 10th level pvp gear and it starts in a silver color which doesn't look too bad at all.

However it did have that sort of epic middle earth elven look to it, so I dyed it green and loved that even more:

Only thing is I can't seem to dye the armor's secondary area on the dye vendor, only on the rare few vials I looted or quested for.

Look at the space left for other colours.
For all of you spazzing out over pink, purple and other lighter colors, let me give you a quick history tip.
These colors were very common in the middle ages and did not have the 'feminine' association that they do today. Even up to Frederick the Great, one of his most feared Prussian units wore pink uniforms. Warhammer is the same way; colors do not have the same connotation that they do in the "present world." I've seen tabletop players having their Black Guard with purple highlights and their Dwarves wearing pink gambesons.
Grow up, they are colors and I think purple looks rather regal on my WH.
hehe yea.. myself like the feature
