Well, I got what I wanted to out of the preview weekend. The basics of the game are down and working, and the game is actually a lot of fun. The RvR sieges and open battles remind me a bit of DAoC, and the instanced RvR (I have never done this before) was actually fun. It was a quick and easy way to get into RvR battles.
There were a few minor things and bugs in game, but none of them should be a problem by the end of open beta or when it releases. Yesterday, I would say the game is ready to release has it is, but today brought a lot of problems that everyone knows of ie. pathing problems and the keep in tier 2.
My hats off to Mythic. They made a fun game that wants people to group and work together. This is something the post WoW releases have not done imo. See yall in open beta!

I agree, it was very fun. I'm glad that I had the opportunity to see what classes that I like and want to continue. Before I started playing I had it all figured out; I wanted to be a witch hunter or a white lion all the way. And after a few hours I wound up with an awesome Witch Elf. The game has a few concerns such as the every once in awhile crash and the maps were very confusing at first and took me awhile to figure out. I think that it would be very cool to have a world map that slowly revealed itself as you explored the land. But after a few more weeks of development and after all the feedback they'll be getting hopefully they'll respond in kind and not go the funcom route...I'm still excited about release, and now I know Its destruction all the way.
After preordering AOC I was considering never preordering again until I played the preview weekend now I've ordered 3 copies one for me my brother and my girlfriend. The game is really fun.

Had a blast. I have finally decided on a couple of classes to play seriously. There were so many that took like 50 hours to figure out, and they were classes that I would have never tried without the beta and preview. Glad to have been involved.
Great time here as well looking forward to release was alot more than I had previously expected.
