What store to trust for pre-order?

I heard nothing but complaints against GameStop. So, I won't be going there. I want to get a pre-order of WAR. So, who should I trust that will give me the pre-order code via email?

well my plan is to order at amazon.com. ive heard nothing but good things and you can download your beta key and from the looks they are shipping the game on the 16th.
i pre-ordered through the EA-Shop.
Hope thay are effective.

I pre-ordered two copies at EBgames and was told he couldn't gauruntee I'd get "the key thingy" (he didn't even take down my e-mail. My best hope is maybe a rave card at release).
So today I pre-ordered it again on Direct 2 Drive (Amazon.ca doesn't sell it) and am already downloading the 9.3gig file at around 800kbs(what I'm capped at). I got all my codes emailed to me within 5 minutes.
So now I have an extra boxed copy and only 1/3 of my pre-order codes...
I pre-ordered at EB Games here in Canada. No problems.
My local GameStop isn't all that bad - probably because a good friend of mine works there. I pre-ordered the game with absolutely no problems.
EA store I guess.. this is where I preordered.
I preordered 2 from Gamestop and they said they didn't have any of the preorder boxes left and they'd have to call me when they came in.
Meanwhile I was at target the other day and found the preorder box for 99 cents, so I bought 2 of them. One for me, one for a friend. So now I have this one, and the other one coming in. I'll let you know if I ever receive the other one from gamestop.
I picked up the preorder box From Gamestop's store (not online) and every thing went smooth.
