Why is there all of this propaganda? There is propaganda coming from the anti-WAR side, and propaganda coming from the WAR is the absolute best side.
Just because you like something, or dislike something, doesn't mean everyone else has to. Neither WAR or WoW are going to become dead games, so I promise...you will still have people to play with.
If you like playing WoW and like it more than WAR, good for you...play WoW. If you like WAR and plan on not playing WoW anymore, again...good for you. Its all about having fun.
People act like choosing a MMORPG is like choosing a religion, its getting very annoying. Just STFU, and keep your propaganda to yourself please. For those doing legit reviews and not glorifying or degrading the game, thanks.

It doesn't surprise me that a bunch of nerds are fighting over their favorite games.
Ford versus Chevy fights have been going on for a long time, there have even been people murdered over it, once alcohol is involved.
If people can argue over cars and pickups they can argue over anything.

I preordered and played the Preview Weekend -- I have seen the game for myself -- and I am now very happy I preordered.
I can't wait for Open Beta and Head Start.
If some people don't like the game, *shrug* oh well, their misfortune. They should move along and seek elsewhere for their entertainment.
I, personally, am very pleased with WAR.

It looks like im starting to look like the minority, I plan on playing both. I have no problem paying 30$ a month to play 2 awesome MMORPGS! I may put wow on hold for a bit because lets be honest EVERYTHING that you have worked on and are working on is going to be worthless when WoLK goes live in a few months. Also judging from the beta should be soon because they are putting the cap to 80 on the test servers and other then a few server crashes its looking solid. All DK parties FTW!

This game is pretty good and I would say in about 6-12 months it will be as polished as AOC is. Dont let all the hype/hate upset you
I agree with that sentiment. I love what I saw and I can't wait for Head-start when each action my character takes counts for something at last.

I agree, no one said you can't play both (especially since WAR has a 6-month plan, so you don't necessarily have to pay $30 a month if you didn't want to). Try it out for yourself! If you like WAR more then play that, but no one cares if you play another game instead.
It's a sure fire way to keep the competition down.

Exactly. Before I tried the game I had to read all this stuff, both positive and negative. Now that I spent the whole weekend playing it, there is nothing anyone from either side that could change my mind - I loved it and will be playing it for a long time.

One thing all you goobers from the Preview Weekend need to realize is, a.) the game has come a VERY long way in the last year, especially over the last 4 months, and b.) all of that leaked "negativity" from beta testers in fact... helped the game. Shocker! It wasn't always as fun as it is now~
I'm not saying running around all over the internet in being an ass was or is beneficial, but the constructive "it's just not fun, and here's why" posts - were listened to by mythic. They've even admitted they listend to testers and dramatically changed the direction both RvR and class functionality was taking.
That being said, I for one am ecstatic the game is as fun as it is now - and look forward to smashing some faces on the 18th.

Hopefully they dont mess with the speed of combat, maybe only making auto attacks a bit faster. That global cooldown actually stops you from being what appears to be one hit in other games.
I also like how the attacks have to be chained up for some of the classes (Dunno if the other classes have to do chains).
Im glad I didn't follow this game or expect much, like I did to AoC and ended up pretty much disappointed.
Didn't Anarchy Online teach you anything Ados25. You can't be nuetral for too long. You gotta choose a side if you want the best gear and missions. Now choose! WAR or WOW!!
Any of those saying bad things about it are just DISCUSING IT. That's why this forum is labelled WAR General Discussion. Do you want to just talk about how awesome the game is? If so, the game will be crap. There are huge problems plaguging the game and the only way to have them changed is to talk about it. The combat sucks, but I want the game to be good.
