Yes...especially for PvE.  PvP is possible....but classes aren't meant to be balanced one vs. one.  For example, the melee healers types are typically hard for a tank to kill.

Music is a bit odd.  It's not consistent and will suddenly come on for a bit....typically if one side or the other controls a zone or something similar.

They do both well.  Their damage is via DoTs mostly....so they aren't quite as straightforward as a straight dd mage.  Their healing is better the more they cast offensive spells and vice versa.....so they are best weaving between the two.

Crafting is pretty simple....but sort of unique.  Doesn't take too much of your time and if you have a gathering skill as well, won't be too much of a money sink.

Yes solo is possible in PVE and PVP.  There are times when it is better to group but for the most part I foud solo PVE to be better, excluding dungeons which need a group of about 6.  Also PQs which you can do solo as in not grouping, but need other people to complete.

PVP you can be solo, only scenarios force you to group, but you get more renown if you are grouped.  Either way though it is easy to have fun in this game no matter what your preferred playstyle.

I liked the music it seemed to fit each area.

Archmage is both fun and good in solo and pvp.

I really enjoyed crafting but I feel it needs some changes.  In beta there were 3 gathering skills Cultivation (growing plants and shrooms for apothecary), Scavenging (harvesting components for crafting from intelligent beings), and Butchering (harvesting components from animals).  There is going to be a 4th gathering skill that functions much like disenchant in WoW for components for Talisman making.

There are 2 crafting skills one of which was not in the closed beta.  Apothecary which they made some changes to so if you have at least 2 of the 5 ingedients needed you break about even, or get a somewhat useful potion.  Talisman making is the 2nd craft and was not implemented so I can't tell you how it works.

In my opinion it would be better if you could have 2 gathering skills without being able to take butchering and scavenging at the same time.  It would make crafters a little more self sufficient without breaking the economy and make things a little more enjoyable.

I tried out all the skills available and scavenging is far superior to butchering at least in the Dark Elf zones, in the Empire zones I only got up to level 8 and butchering seemed like it would be almost but not quite even with scavenging there.  I am unsure of the other zones.

Cultivation works like this: first you have one plot to start with but you can see you will end up with a number of plots about 6 if I recall correctly.  You open up the plot and put in a seed or spore.  Then a 3 min timer starts, you can immediately add soil.  After roughly 45 secs, to a min if you did not add soil, you can add water, then after another 45 secs you can add nutrient.  After the timer runs out you can harvest your plant/mushroom.  Each time you add an ingredient it goes from 1 min to 45 secs to wait until the next stage where you either add an ingredient or harvest.  You can do other things while cultivating but if you have more than one plot or miss the onscreen message for the next stage it gets frustrating.  In my opinion I see it could be fun but needs some work, perhaps allowing all ingredients to be put in from the start.  As a gathering skill its more tedious crafting than Apothecary which is an actual crafting skill.

Apothecary is pretty fun if sometimes frustrating.  It starts by pressing the button to activate the skill.  Then you put in the vial that will contain your potions.  Next you put in a main ingredient most of which are gotten through the currently implemented gathering skills or you can buy them off the vendors which is pricey and only low level stuff is available in the early zones.  I believe there was level 50 stuff in the city but its been awhile so I'm a little hazy.  After that you can choose to put in 3 other ingredients which have different effects.  On the vendor you can buy a stabilizing ingredient, a greater yield ingredient and a longer length effect ingredient.  I had a lot of fun with the skill even though sometimes I would get repeated failures on recipies that showed they had a good chance of success.  Luckily on a failure only 1 ingredient is destroyed.  I don't know if I got lucky or not but every time I failed (roughly 15 times) the vial broke.  Since the vial is the cheapest ingredient it was not too bad.

I hope that some of this was helpful, good luck and enjoy the game.
