The game is made for Windows PC only...if you aer able to dual boot Windows on your macbook however you should be fine though I dont know why anyone would want too..i can't imagine a macbook is well designed for games of this nature.
YES IT CAN, AS LONG AS YOU HAVE LEOPARD 10.5 WITH BOOT CAMP. install Windows with bootcamp. my buddy plays Cyrsis and every other game on his Mac flawlessly. search any bootcamp game on youtube, you will see there is no difference. bootcamp runs windows natively. you can close this now mod. i wrote big because a thousand PC fanboys will not even see my post and jump down the OP's throat.
If you have a windows install CD with a legitimate windows CD key, then you can install windows on your Macbook (which is what i'm doing at the moment).
I recommend committing about 35 gigs to the windows side... do it using the 'search' function and search for 'boot camp'. That is the program which creates the partition necessary to install windows.
Also, have your leopard CD handy, you need to put it in your computer once windows is installed, to install your graphics, audio and network drivers. Also, when it asks you what kind of partition you want to make (when the blue screen menu thing comes up, don't choose 'leave current file system' or 'convert part to NTFS' options, choose the first option.

Do you think the 2.2Ghz Dual Core with the integrated graphic card is enough?
it depends what that intergrated card is, if it not a higher end ati or nvidia probably not. click on "about this mac", then click more info, go to the video card section, tell us what kind of card it is.
Vid Card: Intel GMA X3100 graphics processor with 144MB of DDR2 SDRAM shared with main memory4
I could get a NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT with 256MB of GDDR3 SDRAM instead if I got the Macbook pro...I don't have the laptop yet, but I was really thinking of buying it for school and was hoping to play the game...the problem is that this card is an extra 400$.
Worst case I think there might be a chance it plays on my old laptop...it's an AMD 64 3500+ (2.2 Ghz), with 1G Ram and Radeon Xpress 200M card (128MB).
sent you a PM mate, so as to avoid the inevitable incoming retards. bottom line is it runs conan on beatiful settings, bloom, AA, AF, shade under 1.5k view, 30fps in and out of combat (higher maybe but vsync locked) and another game unreal 3 at max at blistering speed. installing vista 64 was initially tricky but worth it to use 4gb of ram and runs very fluidly. havnt tried crysis but will do soon out of interest.
this game will be eaten alive by a macbook pro, as others said, just get the nvidia, it makes all the difference, and for gods sake, buy a wooden plank to rest on yer knees, if you dont...well i warned ya
Playing polished, lag free, feature complete games is carebear. Whining about a game you hate but still play is hardcore man!

Integrated graphics = probably not. What about ram?

get the 8600 and you can play. you will not be able to play with the GMA card.
Hey I'm just wondering if someone who's in beta has tried it? If so, how does it play? What's the FPS like? Does it overheat?
Thx for any feedbacks
