Good links, the videos do a good job of displaying the artwork and once you see it with your own eyes you really can see that the zones are quite large in scale.
I can't wait till the 7th and actually get to see the game and not some video. It seems like its taking forever to get here.
It's just the video, you can see the pixelation as it plays. As I said when people get to see it in game they will be able to appreciate the artwork a whole lot more.
I have played the beta. I fought the landscape was really breathtaking.
With those people who say shit about warhammer how graphics are like wow. They should go to there eye doctor right away. Then while they get there eyes check out. The doctor tells them.
Im sorry son.. but you can't see shit.
Sorry... I'm just sick and tired of reading that alot.

you know I really have to agree here. The landscape is probably the best I have seen in years for an MMO. usually, current MMOs just throw random stuff in and calls it a landscape. I was completely in awe at the landscape in WAR.
The buildings are simply great! I didn't care for the elven buildings (but they were very nice....just not my cup of tea) but they did a HELLUVA job on the Orcish buildings (haha the troll powering the war machine being fed food that used to be lazy ass sleepy goblins) and the Empire's Buildings. Those houses and buildings were very gothic and beautifully rendered.
My main will be a Chosen and our cities are just tents with demonic shit sprouting out of the ground so I aint so blessed. But i do get to see the occasional Imperial buildings as I raze them to the ground!
People who have to create conspiracy and hate threads to further a cause lacks in intellectual comprehension of diversity.
Everything you see in the videos is how it is, execpt much sharper and higher quaility, and trust me today I was in T4 just walking around and it is even more epic then those scences.
I haven't played in Beta but several guildies were and still are.I know that the settings are low and even though the landscape are impressive and I guess when I`ll see them in max settings they gonna feel EPIC
Unfortunately I won`t be joining on Sept 7th but rather on launch due to RL commitment and guess what? I've already taken a week off @work.... for launch

Ok I must say that the videos were really good. Alot better than what I expected it to be. The Saint is going to give this game a whirl at release.
It's just that people have not yet realised how immersive and epic battles gonna be in this game.we have all read about these places and now we will set foot there and bring WAR to the enemy's Gate.

Screenshots do not do Warhammer's graphics justice. I was really unimpressed with the screens I'd seen. Then I played the Preview Weekend and my opinion did a complete 180.
There is great graphical diversity in the game, with definable moods for each race's domain. It's not just a hodgepodge of environments; they all make sense and flow together well.
WoW's graphics are characterized in part by very few polygons. This makes the characters and environments look really angular. Warhammer has a lot more polys, and the results are a convincing smoothness. The textures are excellent as well.
If any comparisons are going to be drawn with other games on the market, I'd have to go with LotRO. But Warhammer delivers a much edgier and darker take on this variety of stylization.
By the way, the thing that really stands out in my mind from this weekend was a Public Quest set around a burning windmill. That structure really looked phenomenal.
I think that once people start playing WAR, most will be impressed despite themselves. No, it won't be everyone's cup of tea. But WAR is true to the IP, provides enough realism to be easy on the eyes, while also not pushing things so far as to require instancing like AoC.

Awesome.
Oh I got that Epic feeling of scale and beauty while playing the entire weekend. This is going to be my favorite mmorpg to date. I love the graphics of this game very much so.
