Defiance ~ Hardcore PvE Raid Guild

DyoneyesisDyoneyesis Member Posts: 6

If you are looking for a hardcore PVE Guild with a family guild aura then please visit our site at http://www.defianceguild.com/  and our boards at http://www.defianceguild.com/forum/index.php for more details.

We are looking for MATURE players preferably ages 25 and up who have 35+ hours to dispense. Although we will gladly consider you if you are under that age as long as you possess some form of intelligence and don't require micromanaging / babysitting. I'm not a fan of changing diapers.

Please read our Charter and Constitution, prior to applying. Thank you and good luck ~Dyoneyesis

I went and read your entire website. Your charter and constitution are good. Your website looks great. Only one thing you should concider. Your charter says you expect to have around 36 members. I have not played EQ2 but if it were EQ1 36 members would not be enough to do the most rudementary PoP mobs. You could do PoJ trials, or the Maze in PoN, but not TT, not Grummus, not MB and these are low end planer mobs. So IF EQ2 is similar you will need more to be a hard-core guild. But maybe its different, maybe the mobs are easier and take less people. Less people means less organization. Less organization means less strategy. Less strategy means less fun (to me). And if it's less fun than EQ1 then I won't be playing it.

Your website looks awsome, but keep in mind style over substance won't cut it for a hard-core so called "end-game" raiding guild.

Numbers are what mater. One strategic mind can rule the world with millions of morrons at their beck and call. 100 strategic men couldnt over come a small town image if you catch my drift.

I personally will (if I go) be moving to EQ2 with a pre-established EQ1 guild that has over 4 years experience kicking planar ass.

    But thanks for the offer.

You also apparently haven't even read anything about EQ2...

And as for that last part... When did Zerging something become "strategy"?

I am going to leave ya with a quote: "It is better to be quiet and thought of as a dumbass than to speak and remove all doubt". EQII is as different than both EQPC and EQOA - you will be a "newb" and it is especially made apparent through your lack of EQII knowledge - please stick to EQI limits the idiot factor in EQII. IMO any guild over 40 players in EQII is saturated unless you plan on making dual raid forces. I also stated in my quote if interested apply / respond, I didn't ask for a reply if you aren't interested - again read the aforementioned quote. If I had to pick between admitting a member who had little experience or "little" intelligence I would favor the person with "little" expereince since experience has the possibility to shine through - contrary to if you are an idiot you will always remain one. With that said, thank you for not applying.

I am curious about how the recruiting during beta will be handled. Are you looking for players that are currently involved in the beta? I have pre ordered EQ2 and am currently looking for someone with a spare EQ2 beta account in order to develop a foundation with a guild, and learn the game. Just curious about if the application is open to those that aren't currently in beta.

Yes those currently not involved in beta may also apply. If you have any further questions, please contact me via email @ dyoneyesis@defianceguild.com

Your post confuses me, did you think we were a FP based guild and were eluding to PvP? We are a Qeynos based guild as well. The devilish faces confused me regarding your post's intent.

**Sounds like a threat to me buddy**

Oh, as for the gentleman who stated 100+ member guilds will rule the world, you are quite mistaken. Since your guild will only be as affective as a guild with 36 members. This was a guild design mechanism implemented by SOE to keep guild numbers in check."
