Harry Potter Meets Pokeman?

DrafellDrafell Member Posts: 588

I have been playing this for a couple of weeks, and it's kind of fun. Although given that it is more-or-less aimed at the 8-14 year old market, maybe that is saying more about my mental state than I really want it to.

    Euhmm...

Yeah It looks a lot like Harry Potter. It even tastes, sounds smells like Harry Potter. And it's really created for kids around the age of 10 - 14.

I don't really know what to think about it. But it seems like a fun mmorpg to me. Alot of fun feauteres the graphics aren't bad either.

It's a fun little game.  Been playing about 5 days now and I like it.  Feels amazingly like Toontown to me.

You're not the only one, hehe. If the intro is taken fom actual game-play, i might have a look at it myself.

Er... I will have to double check with KingsIsle what can (and cannot) be said at this point...

But, I have been testing for a while... and yes... this is one to watch.

Aimed at 8-14s.  But I think it will have MUCH wider appeal (And No I am not a Fanboi)

    Watch this space.

Edit: Oh and, the thread title is very appropriate.

Nothing says irony like spelling ideot wrong.

To be honest, i can seriously see many adults enjoying this game!

The only downside i can make out about this game so far is that you have to buy the ingame currency known as 'Crowns'  with real money. So even though the makers advertise that it's F2P, you won't realy be able to do anything ingame without the crowns you have to buy.

The game is said to be aged around 11-14 but i don't think many parents will be prepared to pay out for the ingame money on a regular basis.

FYI - The game is live now and there's a nice little review in The Pub.  Personally, I have some quibbles with the game, but do think it's a lot of fun and highly recommend you check it out.  My son LOVES it.

That is pretty scary...   I'll try to stay away from that one and play more detailed graphic'd games.  Thanks for the update though and I'm sure many people will enjoy this game, just not me.
