Black Screen on Loading
Hey you guys, I have heard some good things about this game and wanted to give it a try, but when I start up the game, I just get a black screen. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Can you post some info about your PC like operating system, video card, etc? That might help troubleshoot it.

Are you maybe playing on a Notebook with onboard graphics?
Could be the problem, some "older" onboard graphic cards didn´t react all too well to Ryzom.

Do you dare to adapt?
I had the same problem when the game crashed while logging out. (The game crashed because of the compass bug).
To solve it, I deleted my save dir and my unpack dir (or better, rename them) and let the ryzom_downloader run to fix it. It downloaded about 15 Mb and then i could run the game again.
(Then I copied some old files from the save dir back, so that I still have my UI and waypoints...)
