got download done, took 6 hrs, installed, need to logging to patch it, but goes silent. Iether there no login sever up (is 6 in morning), or i got patch issues.
Has anyone got past this point yet?

How are you gonna log in when we cant put our keys in yet?
its a good question, since Goa website is pile of crap, and gives next to no information on how this open beta for the preorders is to work. Normal person would assume that when release the open beta client for download, that be helpfull to mention when, where and how to register or keys, but for momment all we get is 12 gb download.
There are no servers up, wait untill the 7th sept. So no nobody has gotten past this point yet as the game isn't up till the 7th of sept.
You can't patch until your account has been activated which they probably won't do until the OB officially starts.
I can't even download the client I just get the message: "You do not have the required rights to acces this service"
try it with internet exploder. I got the same message with Mozilla, but with i.e. it worked.
OP are you taking the piss?
Its been quite well publicised that the beta will start on 06/09/2008. My download link came in an email that stated this fact again.

Note: PlayNC will refuse to allow you access to your account if you forget your password and can't provide a scanned image of the product key for the first product you purchased..... LOL
Thanks MortyRS it worked with IE. A bit annoying tha you have to use IE, but oh well.
edit: works with opera to if anyone refuses to use IE
With the latest Mozila worked just fine just refresh it a few times.

If go to Mythic site, which is for NA, it clearly stated about the the start date.
But if you go GOA site, which is for EU, find me the link about when Open starts, the news page title is "Gates are open and Open Beta client is able to downlade" , there is no mention of any date of start date.
My original querry was find out if people had also got to this point.
As far as I know, 7th sept is EU Oen Beta start. It is the date commonly used on WHA etc, so I take that as correct. Can't point to a link right now, but I will look.
