i can help you with some macros seeing as im a WHM/BLM
/ma "Cure" <t> /p (casting) (cure) <t>
/ja "Divine Seal" <t> /p using (Divine Seal)
/ma "Protectra" <me>
These are some of the basic macros that i have. In order to write a macro you must first put /ma for madic, /ja for job ability or /sa for songs. These are only a few macros. You also must put quotation marks before and after the name and capitalize the word. ex: /ma "Cure II" <t> Hope this helps you a bit
One thing i tell most mages to do in macros,is to get used to using the <st> instead of the <p0-6>option.Reason is that you will soon have way too many spells to manage ,and this will save space.
It is very easy to have 6 different macros to heal at first but soon takes up to much space.Better to have the <st> wich will only take up one macro.
If your unsure what i'm saying then i will give an example.
A lot of new players use this>>>> /ma "Cure" <p1> [needs 6 macros]
better to do it this way>>>>>>>>/ma "Cure" <st> then on keyboard you would press the number of the player u want perhaps f3 or f6 then enter.
For any WHM[white mages]it is easy to have a single macro for buffs.
an example is this>>>/party gather around for buffs in 5 seconds
/wait 5
/ma "Protectra" <me>
/wait 6 or 7 depending on lag
/ma "Shellra" <me>
Never forget 3 mile Island and never trust a government official or company spokesman.
