If you want to do PvP, I suggest you look for a different class. Sure they have several DOTs and can curse a lot of players, but their damage output sucks horribly, at least till level 20 which is what my warlock was in the stress test.
Im going Night Elf rogue. Im sure there are going to be a ton of other NE rogues, but they make great ones because of their high agility. High agility = lots of critical attacks.

I suggest everyone try ALL races/classes they are interested in (if they haven´t already) in OB because their characters are going to be wiped anyway come the real release...
Human Warrior as main! Nothing like the feeling of MT! Need I say more.

Glad to see so many Rogues. Means it'll be a lot easier for me to rise to the top of the PvP ranks. Why is it that so many people gravitate to Gimp classes? *sigh* Or maybe it's a game balance technique- a company sees that one class is disproportionately popular, so they gimp it, figuring that people will play it anyway.

Warlock has pets though. Strong ones. Just like a mage and priest are weak, but they have enough spells to keep people at bay.

Indeed warlocks do have pets, but their pets DPS + the lock's DPS isnt that good, unless its a long fight and your DOTs can build up with Immolate, Corruption, and Curse of Agony. In PvP though, fights dont last long so unless you spam all three of your DOTs and can hold your enemy off, who wont concentrate on your pet, your dead before you can do much.

Now, how many characters I will try all together.. well that list can go on for a lifetime Lots to choose from. I do know for certain that I will be going Horde for the long-run, but I am sure I will try out alliance, at least a gnome/mage to ride the rollercoaster (deeprun tram)! Weee...
Added: During Stress Test I made a Tauren Warrior, and I have to say I had a blast on that character. So, I am sure I will at least have her as an alt, if not main if my undead priest isn't what I am looking for.

Thats why all the warlock players in the beta are screaming. They have been put on the back burner for a while, but Blizzard says they will work on the warlock in the next patches.

I think I've come to a decision, a Troll - Priest! hehehe...I'm going to start out with the least played races/classes if I can, to be different I suppose, but not gimp my characters. Now for a name! hehe
I was a Night Elf Hunter in the Stress Test and he was somewhat fun. I have an Undead Warlock in Closed Beta and despite what people say about warlocks, he is a blast to play. I'll start out as him. I'm also willing to try others as well. Should be fun!

That is one reason why I chose Priest. Out of all the classes in Stress Test, that was the least played (by a large percent). Surely every group would like to have a Priest around!
Night Elf Hunter will be my first choice. After that I plan to explore the other classes, Orc warrior, human warlock, Dwarf paladin, I'll play around till I find something fun

I'm not the type of person to have more then one character. I like to spend as much time as possible trying to power game that toon.
What will he do next?
