Reguardless of the Naysayers, I just learned of this game a few days ago, and was only able to read up on how it works today, and I'm extreamly excited about it, although I already saw that someone said they removed the Prestige classes. Anything else been changed from their website info on what the game features are?
I'm so excited about this game, If it's what I hope it is, I'll quit playing WAR, and EVE. because so far it looks like an excellent cross between Ultima Online and SWG (Pre-CU) based in classic Fantasy style. I certainly hope it's that good.
And just to say my bit on Naysayers, AoC did suck, it did not deliver what it promised. I don't see anyone denying this, Why are your sights set on this game? If you guys are so angry, do what I continue to do, take it out on the game that you hate so much. I post about once every 3 months or so on the SWG Refuge forums about how much I hate SOE. It makes me feel a little better, although that can never replace what they took from me. If you don't dislike AoC and think it's the best thing out there, why aren't you playing it instead of bashing another game that gives people hope for their dream game to come true? Pathetic life maybe?

What really pisses me off with this post in the first place is that it says "Joined: 6/12/05".("I just learned of this game a few days ago" - yea right lol!). Everyone HERE knows about Darkfall but thats not all, he then continues to piss on other games while praising something NO ONE else have got a chance to play yet. Not good PR, so do it again and this time do it RIGHT!
I know the fanboys are fainting left and right because they released a video but in truth it wasn't all that great. Blood, yay...crappy animations and no feeling of "wow" though. I'm sure people are just excited that it's coming because of the things it promises...if it can deliver those things. /shrug
gameplay, community, and immersion > omg graphics that lag the game or dont make up for lack of gameplay
Honestly, yes the graphics are dated, but not by much and we knew what they would look like. It is plenty to give the feeling of immersion...but immersion comes more from teh gameplay, which this video is all about. Some of the scenes just wow'd me with what is possible. (archer sniping scene then getting blown off the tree when the mage finds him)

That doesn't mean anything. 200 posts in 3 years is not much and if you check his other posts you can see his pattern. I know lots of people who come here to only check out one game or another and make those posts. He can also be very inactive which is what I think cause he has 1 star. He probably gets on here once in awhile for a minute or two, makes a post and leaves.

Thank you for your honorable defense. which is dead on accurate, I only get on about once every 2-3 months and check the few games I know and/or play. One of my primary forums is the SWG Vet Refuge. I have yet to find a game that I feel is what SWG used to be, and am only hoping this game is the game I'm looking for. And usually when I check the forums, it's when I'm not playing the games I am active on, which I believe I posted already, WAR, CoH, and EVE.
AS for you guys who "arn't buying it." glad you feel so desprately about proving that I'm, what? some sort of paid promoter? I wish you were right, the gas prices are killing me going back and forth to my real job at the Fire Department, which is where I work when I usually post on these forums, to pass the time when things arn't burning down.
Of course, there sure seems to be alot of flaming going on in here, so perhaps I'll just wait until the game is released to post here again, even a firefighter knows when it's too hot and he needs to get out.
Hope to see the game go off well and hope it's great, sorry I didn't know it existed until my best friend told me about it yesterday. A mutual friend of ours told him about it several weeks ago, and I have no idea when he heard of it. That's how I got here ladies and gentlemen, and that's how I'm exiting for the time.
That's just wrong on so many levels, lol.

HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA, Your such a loser, how can you say that without realizing the same EXACT thing can be said about EVERY SINGLE MMO in existance! Its all about whether your playing the "better game" that everybody else choses not to care about. Seriously get your logic checked out before you make youself look worse!
