The feeling like a little kid again

Hi guys is it only me feeling like a little kid again i am 32 years old lol.
I have not played beta or the preview weekend.
For the past couple of days since pre ordering and reading up on warhammer and watching videos this has happened to me.
I and waking up early every morning and feeling excited as if i have won the lotto. I am commig to these fourms every time iam on my comp just reading the warhammer posts lol.
I have been going to work and telling all my work collegues that WAR is comming and feeling excited about it. My work collegues say whats that then and i have said "My god Its only going to be the best game ever released on pc lol". Now i have played many mmo's todate and none have ever made me feel like this.
Thought i would share this with you guys as this feeling has shocked me lol

I literally feel the same way. I'm 28. The last time I felt like this was for Sonic the Hedgehog 2. I can't stand waiting 3 more weeks for this to launch. I'm thinking of firing up CoH just to pass the time and get my mind off this game.
im going bananas without my daily dose of war, i played ce closed for a week and the pw and now that i cant get more war till the 7th im going through the harshest withdrawls ive felt in a long time (like when my eq1 server blew up and we couldnt get on for 2 weeks, or my first 3 day suspension in wow for publicly voicing my opinion about where gold farmers should go and what should be done to them and their families and dogs) anyway the days are going sooooo slowly but i cant look forward enough to playing again i need my fix man i need my fix, warcrack where are you?!
same here wasn't in beta or PW cause i live in europe hehe.
but now i am counting down the dyas just to get this game started or the OB in any case. Will use the OB to try out all the classes and then go with the one that makes me feel best

everyone seems excited and WAR has sold out in the stores pretty much, so i'm having to teach my friends the way of the Direct2download lol
Well i have played the beta for the last few months and i am sill excited about the game. I have not played any of the green skin and dwarf content just so i can have that new game feel to it. Even during beta i knew that i did not make the wrong chose in ordering the collecters edition of WAR. yes it has a few bug but the game is very playable. The story and the emerstion of the world is intoxicating. I found my self sitting back during some public quests and just going WOW i am so going to die by that demon and i just dont care i have to see it up close. I have not fetl this way sense the first time i picked up EQ or WoW and just enjoyed the game. Take it from a beta tester when i say your money is well spent.
I have played CB for a week the PW with CE and i want this game to release so BADDDDLLLY lol cant wait
Really excited too and I'm 48 lol.
I actually shed a tear or two watching the new trailer I got so emotional
If only the avitars actually looked like that in the game, well maybe in DAoC 3.

Hehe, yeah, i'm keeping a close eye on new WAR updates too (i'm 29). Although, I don't want to get my hopes up to high. It makes your expectations higher and you are more prone to be disappointed. I'm not expecting miracles from WAR. I will probably not stop playing Wow because of it, but it will be a nice change of pace.

I'm really excited about WAR aswell. The open beta feels like the release of the game already for me lol
i dunno, in his level 10 rank 6 armor my marauder looked pretty dam goog and the same, other then its the left arm that changes in game unless we can pick which (i didnt find an option to be a left hander with a right mutey though) i just need more warcrack the first dose wore off and im jonesing soooo hard
To OP: So why didn't you preorder earlier then so you could get into the PW? Shocking! Simply shocking.
You should have registered for the beta a year and a half ago like I did and then not get in like I did.
But I kid. You're probably better off not having been in the PW. It ended and I just kept wanting to play. I keep running the client hoping it will find a server. I keep trying to recruit people to play with as well.
There's only a couple of weeks to go so try to keep yourself busy and your mind off of it. (Should take my own advice.) Look forward to mowing you down soon.

Hmm. I'm excited too. It's good hearing from folks who feel the same as I do. I got over the DTs about not playing last Tuesday but I do think, every night that the close of the day means one less calendar spot to wait through until the 7th (and of course the 18th!)
My brother was so happy with the 'gushing' i was doing, he slapped in an order for the SE so he can play ASAP too!
I have the same feeling during WoW beta and was disappointed very much just only month after release. Now WoW is the most terrible MMO on the market for me even as a multiplayer game it is not so bad. From closed beta I have very nice observations but still I'm scared to give big hopes about it. Just hope WAR will not disappoint me the same way.
Where themepark games try to hide that they are copying WOW, games like Mortal Online and Darkfall make no attempt to hide their inspiration

38 here, and I just can't WAIT!!!
I've canceled my other MMO's in anticipation, can't even play them anymore because all of a sudden it seems to pointless to invest time in them. GIEF GAME!
Anticipation does it all the time!
I like the feeling myself, when I get it.
However, here are some other things that are anticipated and we lose sleep over.
1. Buying your house or car for the 1st time.
2. Asking that girl out you always wanted to ask and she says yes.
3. Proposing to that GF to be your wife and she accepts.. LOL
4. Having your 1st baby.
5. Winning the lotto (wouldnt know this of course, but got a feeling your going to feel pretty damn good).
6. Waiting for that MMORPG you always wanted..

Anyways..
I know what you folks are feeling, I went thru this scenario when Star Wars Galaxies was going to be released. Like a kid in a candy store.

this game is so fun that i feel absolutely crappy during the downtime till the 7th and being able to play again lol, its like getting caught doing crack and then going cold turkey, i wants my warcrack
I'm 40... I just spent $1500 on bits for anew PC (upgrade from P4 3Ghz, ati x1950pro to E8500, HD 4870 OC) so I can get the most out of WAR. I'm doubly excited, Wednesday will be Christmas when the bits arrive and the 18th will be Christmas again... the real Christmas just won't compare this year...
i hear that, been playing beta for a few months with a friend and its a ton of fun, i decided to wait til release to play with all the phase wipes so i didnt get bored doing the same quests for the most part over and over.
Im so bored i started playing gunbound with a friend to pass the time, starting playing a lil tf2 too
