Oceanic WAR?

in Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning

Hey all, isnt Mythic supposed to have an Oceanic WAR with their own servers?

I would like to purchase the pre-order for Oceanic zone but haven't seen any info yet on how to get it. Is the release at a later date than the NA/EU?

Also, is there going to be someplace to get a digital download like D2D has for NA and EU?

    During the preview weekend there was a server listed as Oceanic.  Since anyone could use it I would assume it would be same release as US. Hope this helps.

    there were indeed special oceanic servers during the final phase of closed with people from down there invited to play on them so yes the kiwis get their own realms!  as far as a digital purchase i have no idea yould have you check the kiwi dealers!

    and war is set for simultaneous global domination launch

    That is great news!

    So is there a special Oceanic client to be able to play on Oceanic servers? Or do you buy the NA or EU version and connect?

    If Oceanic client can someone point me to a way to buy a digital download? I have seen nothing for Oceanic yet.

    Oh, and will the Oceanic client account accept American credit card payment?

    (For those wondering I am American but live in Asia and want to play on servers with same Prime time and convenient maintenance times)

    oceanic use the same as us we can play on thier servers they can play on ours. So no we dont have our own independant client

    There are going to be 3 Oceanic servers at launch,1 of each ruleset.  The servers are based in Melbourne and the ping is pretty damn good for Aus players. 

    The Oceanic client is the same as the US version and both can see/join all US/Oceanic servers.

    The pre-orders can be done at any game shop (or online and since it's the same as the US version you can use US sites too).  I got mine at EB.  The CB is almost sold out everywhere tho.  The release date is the same and you can pre-order, download the client and use that even if you get the game later.

    Not sure about local D2D in Oceanic based but the D2D from the US sites will work as well for Oceanic servers.

    You can check the internode msg board or  whirlpool forums for news in case they decide to have local download locations and other aus help.

    Well thats good news that I can just buy the NA version.

    However, I went to the D2D website and they have a big disclaimer:

    "This product is only available for pre-order in the United States and Canada."

     

    So, I guess they also have an IP block to prevent me from getting it there since I live in Asia.

    Does anyone else know of a site that I could get the client and a cd key?

    Or does anyone know if Mythic is planning on putting up a direct DL in their store like DAOC has?

    Im in new zealand & i just preorderd the CE through EB games & played the PW on the oceanic server.

    ill be doing the same for the OB, early start & when the game goes live.

    So, I guess I can order thru EB games or Amazon and have them ship the box to my brother in America.

    If I do that, will they email me the cd key? And is there a place I can DL the client?

    well i just went to the local store & did it over the counter, dont like using technology if i dont have to.

    man i just sounded 80

    Lol, well I cant go to the local store, as the only games they have there are in Korean.

    I have to have a digital download or at least be able to purchase the game and get the cd key emailed to me and then find the client somewhere else.

    According to the Fileplanet download site, the Open Beta is only for North America, Australia, and New Zealand. I'm not sure where you are in Asia, but AU and NZ are apparently what Mythic means by Oceanic. I live on the West Coast of the US and I got a better connection while playing on the Oceanic server.
