The Review for the Closed beta of Perfect World INT
By:chase hardison AKA: hellkingZ
Ok to start this off im gonna say that from the start it is fun. Why you might ask and here is a few reason's why its
like a free vr. of wow. Ripoff you may say but its not like wow as much as you can say ripoff. Like its the the cheap
basterds vr. of wow for ppl that dont like to pay to play or just would rather have fun in there off time.
Classes: I only played as the barb and was a tanker with 2kHP it was cool but i did check out the char makeing system and it
beats all other games out there. Its better then City of hero's/Villions. From what i hear the cap is at 105 which gives you
plenty of lvl's to gain. From day one i was in a guild of this and we are all vary active some to much which proves how
Good this game is. Leveling is not easy if you grind most XP comes from quest. They have a really good quest system that I
didnt know about till about 5 days into game when i was grinding and they also have a coord locator so if you cant find them
you put it in there and a arrow appers you can have up to 5 of these.
Next ill talk about Game play I myself have not had any lag but there are a few that did not many to be a big problem.
With the endless amount of jumping you can do it has wasd moving controlls. The boss battles in dungen are cool and if you
have guild or friends it is fun you have to be lvl 19 to get the quest for a 3star wep in your first dungen must be
leader of party. Making items is done and can have good or normal outcomes.
Funny things that i have heard about seen are the gm's ban ppl for bottings. The lvl 90 boss killing me was pretty funny seeing
as i was only lvl 10 and found him playing around. Swimming is cool and it has flying and riding your friends as long your a girl.
Things i would like to see added:
1.able to ride anybody so travling is faster.
2.mp3 player added.
3.Bigger guild system we had 50 in less then 3 days
4.less Time to wait for a TW 100hrs in guild is to long if we are good lvl's
5.more people in parties.
6.No Bots ever!!!!!!!!
^_^ good luck on that one GM's look for me ill find you your evil bots and if i find a dumb bot site with it ill report it to you
well besides not really being able to grind unless your in a party its my fav. game that is free
I give this game 4/5 for the longer lvling system and not having what i liked it got 1 point taken off.

OK,
I am adding my review of PW here as well. I have said plenty of things about the game in the past that were decent. I have enjoyed my time in Perfect World closed beta for the most part. Now that I have played it for about a week or so here’s my initial thoughts and review and thoughts of the closed beta.
INSTALLATION:
It was a long download. The download package came in a giant 2 gig zip file which needed to be extracted before it could be installed. I ran into no difficulty extracting this downloaded file and installing the program. After installing Perfect World client the client program auto updates itself when the launcher is executed. I was running on Vista 64bit edition and it ran fine. Just run the client in administrator mode if you need to.
CHARACTERS:
So after installing it I began to play. Right away I figured there are 3 races and 6 classes. I thought how small the amount of decisions to make. That was until I came across the character customization screen. There were TONS of choices as far as creating a unique character. It has everything from purple hair to a fat or skinny character. At time of closed beta character names were or are limited to 9 characters.
GAME PLAY/QUESTS:
Once inside the game you are presented immediately with a quest giver. The quest givers are given little yellow shields above their heads. You can point and click to move/attack or move using AWSD. When you complete a quest (ex: kill me x amount of mobs or find me a specific item) the quest givers icon turns to a yellow flag. There are a lot of quest in this game. Plus you can track your progress using the quest tracking tool to see if you have the correct amount of items or help in finding a particular NPC (it has a yellow arrow to point you in the right direction). There are no voiceovers which makes your quests a reading adventure. Certain quest items can be purchased using cash shop items or by farming items (ex: bankers quest for one) which makes the cash shop an optional investment.
GUILDS AND PARTIES:
There are plenty of guild and party (translated in the game as squads during closed beta) options in the game. There are areas of a giant PVP map that allow for guilds to control. By controlling these areas of the map the controlling guild gets a certain amount of gold and access to other various bonuses. I haven’t participated in this turf war yet but perhaps someone can comment more in another review.
ECONOMY/CRAFTING:
OK this is my only critique. During the beta the players had access to all crafting skills and most likely you can choose all skills again during open beta. Basically mobs drop items randomly and you can create items using items dropped from the mobs. If you love to be self sufficient in crafting armor, weapons, jewelry, and potions and don’t care about buying and selling stuff this game is the way to go. I can see people buying cash shop items in the future and attempting to sell them in order to supplement their gold due to lack of trading economy and greater self sufficiency in game. People choosing all professions are too self-sufficient and don’t really have a need to trade for items because they can make their own items. Thus I feel the economics in the game could lead to its only real downfall.
FINAL RATING: Overall.... I still give this game an 8 out of 10 rating.

I played the malaysian version for a while and liked it because of the endless number of quests u gotta do. But wat makes the game a little boring is tat slight grinding u tend to do at those areas with monsters.
i am a long time player of the malaysia version (5 months and counting) and i have played the CB of international so i know what to expect in terms of gameplay bugs and such. in regards to the item mall purchasing mentioned in a previous post u can expect to see ppl spending money on it not only to sell for in-game gold (some of the items valuing in the 30 mil gold range) but also becuz it gives players not only item mall exclusive items like fashion, pet rides, special effect items like replacement dolls or miji (double exp scrolls) but it also allows players to purchase hard to find items like rare crafting materials and mirage stones for upgrading ur equipment so u can always expect to see ppl buying from the item mall and in terms of economy, in malaysia version the problem isnt that its failing, its that players r inflating the prices of cubigold (item mall currency) to prices that only the richer majority of the game can afford to purchase, when i started playing it was around 150k for 1 cubigold, now its 340-400k for 1 cubi.
also i forgot to mention in my last post in regards to chase17tn wanting a bigger guild system, u can lvl up ur guild by going to the Guild Administrator, to make a guild it costs 100k, upgrade to lvl 2 costs 2 million and upgrading to lvl 3 costs 10 mil
Several comments I would like to add is that the crafting system gets very hard later on. The first few levels are easy to gain, but the later skill upgrades require certain level requirements and certain rare items.
People do not recommend doing all the tradeskills for this reason, so don't go into the game thinking everyone can be everything. This is only true for the early levels(which players recommend you doing anyways)
Also, the game is very very quest friendly up to around level 30-40. Also, daily quests help out. But if you intend to play past those levels, expect more grinding each level. Overall, if you're looking for a quest game for a month or two, this is a good option. I dont' recommend going into this game and expecting to finish your character to level 105, ultra elite, etc (after all, it's still a grind game). If you go into this game with a adventuous attitude and don't have the need to finish your character then I think you'll have a great time.
This game would not be recommended if you are looking for Max Level, Max Loot, short leveling speed, etc. You'll regret it and burn yourself out in the process.
once your guild is level 3, the max numbers of members will be 200... and the Territirial War(guild vs guild) is a 80 vs 80 War that makes this game so cool!
