Server Type: Non-RP CORE RvR

Recruitment: Recruitment Open!

Website: www.divinityguild.org

Description: Divinity guild has been in many games, but this one specifically is named after the original divinity created on DAoC mordred after Retribution broke up. Divinity will be fighting on the side of ORDER, and will be heavily active in everything RvR and PvP related. We will set up weekly PvE Raids, RvR Raids, and PvP practice sessions in smaller groups. Divinity is looking for mature, well-versed MMOers that love online gaming, and more specifically the art of pkilling. If you are a team player, and want to join a solid group of people that are going to be living Warhammer Online for the next few years, stop by our guild and post an application!

Divinities goal is to be one of the top Order guilds one day for Warhammer Online! With solid leadership, and experienced members its our hope to hold back the forces of destruction, and slowly wipe them off the planet!

di·vin·i·ty

–noun, plural -ties. 1. the quality of being divine; divine nature.

2. deity; godhood.

3. a divine being; God.

4. the Divinity, (sometimes lowercase) the Deity.

5. a being having divine attributes, ranking below God but above humans: minor divinities.

6. the study or science of divine things; theology.

7. godlike character; supreme excellence.

Divinity is a PvP/RvR-Centric Guild. Although PvE will be a large portion of our time to build our characters, it is for the ultimate goal of defending against destruction in all aspects of PvP including Seiges, Senarios, and Group Battles. We will have organized weekly events for both PvE and RvR as well as practice PvP/RvR events. We will be a hardcore guild, but will not have strict restrictions on how often you need to play. Some of the best players are casual after all!

I am presently looking for not only strong members to help fill the ranks and grow with the guild, but strong leaders as well. Let me know if you have the time and patience it takes to help organize and run an elite group of players.

I second that.  Just joined Divinity two days ago.  Fantastic concept, well planned and thought out, and they have a great bunch of players.

    Another great day at Divinity!

At around 30 applications a day we do ask that if you do fill out an app that you take your time and be as detailed as possible. We only let in people that have done a very nice job on their application, and show us that they want to be here with us. We are looking for strong people that are mature and team-oriented.

    KEEP IN MIND!!!

Our recruiting method is about to change come open beta! It will be a MUCH longer process to get into the guild after this time, so if you're thinking of joining I would do it earlier rather than later!

By request of someone, I want you all to know that we not only have a good mix of casual, we have some of the deadliest players on the planet! Guilds are actually merging into the unstoppable force that is Divinity, and we have people who have been in the top guilds of WoW LoTR DAoC and Guild Wars! We even have a pro gamer or two on our team! We are made up of college students, doctors, lawyers, stock brockers, professional athletes (yup!), software civil and chemical engineers.. our team to be honest is one of the most impressive i've ever seen amassed!

Through hard work and a solid organizational structure we will dominate anywhere we go, and we've already proven that in preview weekend!

Come join a winning team, come join Divinity!

What a great guild, hey, I have a question, how long does it take to get in, once you get in what is productive to do on the website, and is it hard to get in because I'm not good at first impressions, but I'm a good player.

    Thanks!

It can take 2-3 days usually to get accepted/declined. There may be not enough information on your application and we'll ask for more as well wich could extend the process a bit.

It's not that hard to get in right now if you take your time and do a well written application, but we are very picky on the apps.. Pretty soon we'll be switching to a new system that will take 2-3 weeks to process.

    Thanks for writing!

We will be looking to form an alliance on the server, but first and foremost we're going to make sure we pick the right server before we decide on who we bring into an alliance.

sweet! but yeah the main reason I decided to sign up and join is because you guys have the same views about a guild as me. My views have been so different from the ones in the past, the last guild I found that had the same as me was about 2 years ago, so now 2 years later, I've found my home, thank you guild leader.

The alliances, yes a few would be a great, is there going to be like an alliance chat room?

  • Syno23Syno23 Member UncommonPosts: 1,360

hmm, not bad, exactly what I was looking for

  • XenosaiyanXenosaiyan Member Posts: 215

So, you guys aren't really a zerg guild are you? I've seen these types of guild in my previous game, Age of Conan, and I joined one just like it and here's what it consisted. Well, it started with 5 guilds, 5 leaders, and about 672 members. The 5 guild were actually one guild but had to split up into 5 divisions because all of them couldn't fit into one guild.

Would you like to expain to me why you aren't zerg?

  • Syno23Syno23 Member UncommonPosts: 1,360

A ZERG GUILD?! Xenosaiyan, what are u think dude. We are organized, disciplined, great leadership, and besides there's a lot of people who quit, so there will be less people at launch, ok?

  • SixplicitSixplicit Member Posts: 3

Hey Xenosaiyan.  It's a very valid question to ask when you see a guild of our size but I can assure you that we are not a zerg guild though we do think that numbers do matter.  Only we do not just think that only numbers matter, but that quality numbers matter.  Our recruiters pass on several applications a day.  Alot of our guild is made up of very experienced players and many have been top players in many different MMO games and have done well in Beta. We have strong leadership that garners respect through actions not just words and we have a solid structure that is organized and has been working thus far.  We have had many players in beta and the experience has been a valuable asset to the guild.  With the release of the NDA our beta players have been happy to keep the guild informed and to help with questions and builds.  We do not need to Zerg with our experience, but that does not mean that we don't use numbers to our advantage.  With a high number of active players you will always have someone to help you when needed and there will be people on to game with.  To me a Zerg guild is a guild that lets numbers in no matter the experience or attitude to just have the numbers.  I assure you that Divinity is not that guild and many players could hold there own in one vs one or group vs group or in a Warband vs Warband.  However, this is RvR and a Zerg guild doesn't really matter because it is realm vs realm.  You can have a 1000 members in a guild and the other side could match it as this isn't guild vs Destro or guild vs Order.  Its Order vs Destruction.

If this is the same Divinity from DAoC in Albion OMG does this guild stink!

    Great Guild right here.!

Everyone, if your looking for an order guild that is dedicated to its players and has a definiate goal to be the best, and is mature about everything, then Divinity is the way to go. Trust me, I've been in many guilds throughout WOW and other MMOs, but this is the first guild i acutally feel i'm apart of.

I was just accepted into the guild and I couldnt be more excited to play. Everyone is very welcoming and willing to help whenever needed. If you want to be in a great guild, check out the website and fill out an application (www.divinityguild.org). One of the best choices I've made.

Thanks All and have a good Day!

  • Syno23Syno23 Member UncommonPosts: 1,360

great guild, just takes a while to get in because of all the applications

  • Syno23Syno23 Member UncommonPosts: 1,360

I saw that you guys were closing applications early? And now it's going to take 2 weeks to get into the guild?! so, If I applied August 30th, and my application was accpeted, and September 5th rolls around and I'm still not in the guild, do I really have to wait 2 more weeks? What if I'm not guaranteed?

  • ApsPlaceApsPlace Member Posts: 134

It was stated by our Guild Leader and other leaders in the guild that it would get a lot harder to get into the guild after launch, and that is when the process would take up to 2 weeks. If you applied the other day though, you should have recieved an email wanting to schedule an interview via ventrilio. There have been many applications daily though so i'm not sure. I myself was just accepted into the guild last night.

  • ApsPlaceApsPlace Member Posts: 134

I;m sorry, ur right, starting this weekend when open beta starts, the new process will begin.

  • Syno23Syno23 Member UncommonPosts: 1,360

you're exactly right, I hope I get accepted today

  • XenosaiyanXenosaiyan Member Posts: 215

I'm going to stay at Vendetta, I mean Divinity is a great guild but Vendetta is more like a family, of close people and stuff. Best of wishes to you all.

  • Syno23Syno23 Member UncommonPosts: 1,360

suit yourself but I have to say that divinity is going to be the best guild in the world. You are missing out on the opportunity of a life time, and that opportunity is going to pass you up if you don't join divinity, but hey if Vendetta is your home, so be it, but for me I'm going to join the good guys of divinity
