Game specific polls?

Why are their polls specific to one game.   That's really kind of silly and product placementy to do.

 

All and all just annoying.

I find it amazing that by 2020 first world countries will be competing to get immigrants.

    More than likely because that game, whatever it is, is currently popular and MMORPG.com wants to provide information about what is popular at the time the poll is generated.
