Perhaps your thinking of AC2 since it lacks a "ton" of subscribers? Though that would still be wrong since AC2 is also going to be getting an expansion pack. So, sorry to burst your hate bubble but AC1 and AC2 are going to be around a bit longer.
Why do people draw comparisons to real life all the time? This isn't real life...when was the last time you cast a hold spell on someone then wasted them with a lightning bolt, got healed by a cleric, then raised your strength by 5 points?
In contrast, how often have you not tackled a friend playing football because you were afraid his feelings may be hurt, or not taken another players knight with your bishop because you were concerned it might be grief play?
These are games....role playing games, and we should be allowed to make the choices we want. Why have our character defined by developers to always favor good and not evil?
I opt for PlanetSide... well, technically it **IS** player killing

Thanks for all the feedback... I downloaded Neocron 2 and Shadowbane last night.. will try them out sometime today... I guess I have to agree with the poster who played AC in the PvP server... its just a really tuff game to beat if you actually played it... I am not looking for a game to "grief". I just want somewhat unrestricted PvP gameplay... a game that makes your heart race when you are fighting another player... a game where if you die, you stand to lose somthing... SB seems great, but also most the players I have talked to said they quit playing because they said it didn't have enough content to keep them interested... Darkfall looks like its going to be a great game... and D&D online looks as if the combat system will rock... both however don't come out for some time... thanks again for the feedback ;-)
Might be a little old.. but with the expansions, the graphics are still quite good in comparison to many of the newer games... If youve never played DAoC b4... you will have a BLAST with the PvP...

then you should definately try ww2online, never got in any game so much adrenaline .....special when u flying in some planes or going hunting enemy tanks ...planetside is another choice but has more fast pace and rambo style, it has really something special if you compare it to other mmopgs. daoc is one of the last mmopgs i never tried but ill find it out soon how gameplay works.

They still suck for PvP.
He stated a MMP for PK. Sounds to me he wants to grief... in that case, just get SB or UO.
