Retail 4.99 at amazon? Typo?

in Tabula Rasa

I was recently visiting amazon and i noticed tabula is now at 4.99 USD for the retail box copy. Is this some kind of typo or is the game really this cheap now?

It just seems kind of odd to have the game that cheap... I am guessing tabula isn't doing so great?

    The price is correct.  I got 4 copies from amazon.  Spread em amoung my mates.  I don't know if it is doing bad or not, I can get a group if I want one, so cant be to bad.

    Well its nice to know i am not seeing things ;). Too bad direct2drive still charges 40 USD for the game still otherwise i would just buy it threw a direct download and try it out.

    They have a trial on the homepage. Download the trial and decide if you want to spend 4.99 plus some shipping on the game. Also still comes with 30 days free after purchase of the game. Pretty good deal if you find you enjoy the game.

    I did the free download and didn't feel like waiting on amazon...and just paid NCsoft directly.  They were $19 and it satisfied my impulse need so I don't mind paying the extra $15.

    The game really is that cheap on Amazon and Gamestop and Bestbuy have it for $19.99 or less. Its worth picking up at that price and for the free month. After that I have found it to not be worth $15 a month. If you can get it for $4.99 and then a couple of months sub price for $35 or so you can get three months of fun. If you are a casual player you might want to stay even longer.

     I picked mine up 2 days ago at Fry's at $4.99. It is too cheap not to buy it.

    The game is fun in the early levels. $4.99 for a month is a steal. I may not want to subscribe when the free month is over, but this game is certainly worth $5 for a month.
